Just tried California Bun for the first time and it was an amazing experience. Ari was so helpful and friendly, she really made the experience great. The food was delicious and the combo was a great deal. The side of fries was huge and the coffee is great! Totally coming back here.

After playing some pickleball at arroyo Vista I wanted to find a great little spot for some breakfast in this place really hit the spot.

I tried two of their buns and their waffle fries and their hand squeezed lemonade which was superior.

The owner is a great entrepreneur from Belarus and a business worthy of our support.

I look forward to bringing their buns for future pickleball endeavors because they are so portable and easy to eat and share without a mess or silverware.

So everything was awesome except for the food. I think it's just me though I didn't vibe with any of it. It was all either way too salty or way to oily. But service was perfect and the restaurant was really clean. I would say if you are curious try it out but it was not my thing

Nice bright atmosphere. Waffle frys are killer.Tons of bun choices. BBQ with Seoul was my favorite bun. Drinks are unique. Heaviest chairs in town.

Tried California Bun for the first time today. The food was delicious and the service was great. I was thinking it would be like other food establishments where the photos of the food on the menu made them look better than they actually were. I was surprised to find out they tasted amazing. I would recommend that everyone give them a try and support local business owners. Try the tater tots!

Without a microwave to revive the lunch I'd packed, I stopped here on the way back to Simi and I'm glad I did ? i was met with a spacious dining area, hard-working A/C and a surprisingly expansive menu, with several meat selections, vegetarian options and a full breakfast menu ?? I chose a simple beverage (Ahhhnold Palmer) but next time i'll choose something more adventurous ? thank you, Sierra, for making my first visit a lovely one! ?

Ordered the 6 pack since we wanted to try a few different options. My favorites were the BBQ with Seoul and Southern BBQ. My wife's favorite was the Down Home. The kids liked the Eatzza Pizza. Mac Daddy was a bit of a disappointment, and the Ducle wax ok. The breading on the buns was on point and reminds me of the Chinese BBQ pork buns. We also ordered the 7 word latte, which hit the spot and got the kids a strawberry lemonade, which they were nice enough to spit in 2 cups for them to share. The place is spacious and decorated very well. The service was great and friendly. Definitely recommended to give it a try. Will be back when in the area to try the other buns.

Randomly stumbled upon CA Bun for our first time, and they did not disappoint. I'm blown away by the massive amount of detail in every aspect of this establishment, from the interior design to the take-home boxes and everything in-between, keeping in mind that nothing in this place came from a giant corporate franchise; this is privately owned, operated, and uniquely designed one-of-a-kind restaurant.
We ordered the Meatball Mania, the BBQ With Seoul, the Southern BBQ, the Boomtown, the Southern BBQ TOT-Chos, the Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, the Farm Salad, the House-made Raspberry Lemonade, and iced tea. Everything was delicious! ? #foodie #nomnom #yum #CA Bun #supportlocal

Such a great place to grab a snack or a meal. We got a 6 pack and loved all of them, we got to try some drink samples too and all was delicious. Service was also lovely. We’ll be back!

Definitely adding this spot to my "will return" list. Ordered a couple buns, El Sabroso and the BBQ w/Seoul. Both had great flavor, especially the Seoul. The only downside I could see was the inside texture of the bun, but I guess that's normal when bread and moisture mix. I recommend swinging through.

One word: Delicious! You gotta try the Eatzza Pizza and the Chorizo and Egg buns. They’re so good! Melt in your mouth.

The customer service is the best I’ve seen around. Their atmosphere is clean and cool. Very fun spot to meet up with friends and fam.

Try their fresh squeezed orange juice too. So good. And the Raspberry coffee drink was amazing.

Support local California business. They’re owned and operated by a husband and wife. Definitely gotta give them a try!

Parking: Easy to find and plenty of parking. Parked right in front. Woohoo!

Always amazing food and very friendly staff with great service. The bread is delicious and the flavors are spectacular. The fries and tots are always hot and super crunchy, and the coffee is good too. I hope they keep the seven word combo iced coffee, or bring it back often. Moorpark's little gem is right here!
