They need to learn how to heat up the tortillas, my tacos were falling apart because they put the meat on the tortillas straight from the package didn't even bother heating them up. Now they serve boneless chicken wings!

There are better El Pollo Locos than this one. Maybe the food turnover is not so great but most of the time the chicken we have gotten has been very old and dry. We usually get the chicken meals. The salsas are not nearly as fresh as at other El Pollo Locos. I have started going out of town if I want their chicken.

Had to host a dinner party for 200 people, fourth out of six dinners. Decided to try El Pollo Loco in Moorpark, CA. this time.George was the manager on at the time we placed our order. We had few changes before the pick up date. George was great, bent over backwards to help us.Another thing that caught our eye, the inside of the restaurant was spotless.We had bought food from three other restaurants before El Pollo Loco, but this was the best for service and food.They packaged our food in 5 large cardboard boxes and even carried them out to our truck. The other restaurants gave us several smaller boxes and some we even had to carry out ourselves.Everyone at the dinner enjoyed the food very much. If we could serve the same over again, we would. We love their food. Every once in a while the order isn’t quite right but , hey, they are really busy. Grace needed. all staff are nice!
Food and service were excellent. The new birria items were a hit with the family. The traditional BRCs were delicious as always and the avocado salsa hit just right!
