Cute, small cafe with good food; coffee is ok. Would come back. If crowded, it gets loud due to poor acoustics

Delicious Mexican food. Got the Breakfast burrito. Was phenomenal. But when I got my dish I was expecting Sour Cream & Guacamole on my burrito (which is stated on the menu), but my burrito did not come with that. When I asked the waitress she said that my plate did not come with said items , even though it says it on menu. I Chose not to mention it further.

Cute place. Food is decent. Service could have been better. Waitress did not check in on us after the food was served or give us coffee refills. Will give this place another chance.

The Mexican coffee was delicious. The loaded breakfast burrito was great. The country fried steak was a little different to a normal country fried steak, but it was also delicious. The meat was more of a carne asada than a typical country fried steak.

No longer going to be our local go to place. Ordered eggs Benedict and a waffle. Waffle was very thin and flat. Hollandaise looked like soup so you couldn’t discern runny egg and sauce. Muffin wasn’t even toasted. I’ve had better from here before. Should have sent back but only time for a quick breakfast. So disappointed.

Our family brunch for four exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the cafe de olla is a must. We haven’t found many places that serve authentic cafe de olla and their version is outstanding. The menu is extensive and each dish we had was delicious. Highly recommend it.

We visited Moorpark from Arizona, and we fell in love with the food. Great quality, great portions and service. This place is a must-try! Definitely stopping by again when we visit California.

Cool spot. Although food is alright. Wish they didn't cook stuff in seed oils cuz that really destroys my tummy and everyone else's. Please use butter and tallow and coconut oil.

My first visit was a disappointment given that there are many breakfast choices that have better service. The place has about 12 tables which were mostly occupied when I arrived on a Monday morning. After being seated the waiter took our order asking if I’d like toast. I said yes, sourdough, and I would like cream with the coffee. A short time later the coffee, sans cream, arrived. After ten minutes and no cream I noticed some on an adjacent empty table so I found one half and half serving there. Another five minutes and I went to the pay station and requested a container of the cream servings. Someone from the kitchen delivered the breakfast which was warm and tasty. In the meantime, no waiter, which meant no coffee refills. After finishing, the waiter appeared with the check and I asked about the missing toast. The reply was “Oh, well I didn’t charge you for it.” Nice. Since I didn’t know when the waiter would appear I took the check to the pay station and gave the person a credit card. He said “Didn’t the waiter tell you we only take cash?” I said “No.” So I gave him a $50 bill for the $41 meal, but he had no small bills so he gave me two $5 back. Thinking I still might leave a small tip I asked if he could change a five. “No.” Well at that point there was no way I was going to leave a five dollar tip so I left.
The menu said this place has been in business since 2018 so they should have figured out by now that service counts and one waiter can chase customers elsewhere. Even though the food was well prepared (Don’t know about the toast) and so I gave three stars, I won’t go back to the uncertainties of Jarro’s.

Wonderful experience and delicious food! My husband and I split the chicken fried steak and challah French toast and both were fantastic. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The spiced coffee (I forget the name) was to do die for!
Definitely recommend and will be back!

The service was good, very nice people but unfortunate the food was just “ok”. I order a torta de chilaquiles which was good but the taste was not authentic Mexican, it’s more like Tex-Mex. I had the side of fruit; the strawberries and blueberries were frozen making them very soggy and not good at all to me that just give a bad impression in general. I might need to go back and try other things but this was just an OK experience.
