If you are looking for a low key place in Moorpark, then this is your place. This is a place where everybody knows everybody! Regulars will be seen here on a regular basis! This is not a pretentious place with high price drinks and decor that makes you feel in LA. Instead this is a place to pull up at the bar and have an ice cool beer and a friendly chat with the locals! We didn't have much food last night, but I am told that they have good pub food! Also this bar host music nights from time to time! Bar conveniently located near the Moorpark Depot in high street. So you can pop in for a drink after a commute home! Plenty of parking on the streets by the bar. Cheers!

My go to place in Moorpark to listen to quality live music and enjoy flavorful creations. I can always count on Lucky Fools to make a perfect black and tan. The poke nachos are addicting! Lucky Fools has a great menu setting the bar really high for pub food.

At about the 10 min mark someone else comes in and the bartender knew him by name. That person got their drink right away. At that point we were done and walked out. There were at least 2 bartenders that would walk right by us without asking if needed anything. If you have 3 people at the bar without drinks common sense would be to ask them if they wanted anything but nope didn't happen. When we were leaving a customer there said you shouldn't leave the foods good. We were like well if they don't ask us if we want anything how are we supposed to order. She then tells the bartender we were leaving and he didn't say anything.

Good place to socialize but not great for dinner. Their best dish, which is the battered fish, is inconsistent and sometimes tastes refried. It's hit or miss. Otherwise, go there for a drink and some music on the weekend but eat before you go.

They should have a negative review but they don't... Oh well. So Saturday afternoon around 4:30pm, 3 of us decided to go to this Irish pub for dinner. We set at the table, in-front of the bar waiting for menus or waiters to show up. 5 minutes pass by and 4-5 waters and bartenders were talking and having fun behind the bar ignoring all of the customers. 10 minutes passed by and we were still waiting, but the only movements the waters were doing, walking Btwn the bar and the kitchen. 15 minutes passed by and I saw my wife getting impatient... so I got up walked to the bar and raised my voice to 5-6 employee who were standing behind the bar. " I am selling a gps for waiters so they would be able to find our table. Would you like to buy some?" One of the bartender looked at me weird and said "No! We don't"! " Maybe you should, because we were waiting for 15 minutes at the table and no one looked at us or bothered to serve us, or just say, we be taking care of you in a moment." He looked at me without any words like I am an alien from Mars. "He didn't get it" said my wife pulling me to leave the establishment. " Are you saying he is not just unprofessional but dumb too?" and I let her pulling me outside of the establishment. " if that's true... I said, " I still want to ask him " Have you seen a dog who hides from dumb people?" My wife looked at me shaking her head, smiling... so we left. Conclusion: we Never, Ever will go back to the "Lucky" Irish pub and if in the future anybody from my circle of friends wants to go to Lucky pub , i will tell them as it is. " Don't bother to go there and help a community business with your money, they are just not worth it!" The choice is yours.

This place is awesome, I wished we lived closer so we could eat there more. The drinks and food were delicious and the music and atmosphere were on point. Every staff we encountered were all really nice. They even gave my kids a chocolate bunny for Easter. Would definitely go back!

Waited for about 15 minutes for a waiter to take my order on a non busy afternoon. Got up and left. Didn't even stop by to bring water or get my drink order.

Lucky Fools Pub is a fun place to go to eat casual Pub type food. We usually order Fish and Chips. They are delicious. The service is always amazing. The drinks from the bar are great and the beer selection very extensive. We like to go for lunch. It's less crowded then. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

Lucky Fools has the best live bands and variety of beverages to quench any pub lovers thirst. I highly recommend the Philly Cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. My favorite fish and chips is always a treat as well.
