Really good food .Tell them the ginger man sent you. They will even change the food a bit.As of April 24th I see they have indoor dining again.Today lunch for me was the Wor Won Ton soup.I have had it many times because it is so good. You’d be hard pressed to find a better one.

We had an event for 100 people and China Moon came through with flying colors. We couldn't have been more pleased working with the owner Ben. He helped us select a menu to satisfy our guests, including many vegetarians and knew which entrees would hold up well in chafing dishes for a few hours. He was very generous with the portions of each party pan and also included soy sauce packets and fortune cookies. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the variety of entrees. China Moon's prices were very reasonable too. He even accommodated our morning pick-up time which was well before the restaurant opened at 11 a.m. They don't offer delivery service but with their help, it was easy to pick up and pack the food trays in our car. The next time we want to cater Chinese food for an event, we'll return to China Moon!Vegetarian options: Braised tofu with assorted vegetables, Garlic and Braised Eggplant, Brocolli with garlic sauce, Triple Deluxe Mushrooms. Vegetable Fried Rice

The Chinese 'to go' food we ordered was much too salty, including the egg noodle soup-loaded with msg(monosodium glutamine). Too pricy for that level of food quality.

Love this place. Family owned and good quality in the middle of Rheem Moraga. Good value during lunch but go for dinner and try the menu. So many good options. Little on the older side for decor but food is good.

I just haven’t been disappointed.Braised Tofu w/Veg is delicious. Eggplant with veg is like none other. Just my favorite go-to chinese in Rheem.Update: 2 years later. I'm no longer vegitarian and they're still my preference.Veg. Fried rice is the best among the few chinese places I've tried in the area. And my new favorite is Cashew Chicken.

Schedule is negotiable. Service can be very efficient.Food is decent. My family has a good partnership with China Moon for three years since the pandemic.

China Moon is delicious - we've finally found our staple Chinese restaurant near us. We are Shanghainese and I've had plenty of Chinese food in my life. My mom who was born and raised in China agrees that China Moon is fantastic. We love the salt & pepper pork chops, fried rice, west lake beef soup, broccoli beef, and many appetizers. We're so lucky this hidden gem is in Moraga!

We had lunch specials and dimsum. I don’t recommend dimsum (at all) but the lunch special/combo meal was great. We’ll definitely come back. =)

Surprised moms at work & treated her for lunch. China moon is right around the corner. My mom loves eating here and my sister Megan when she worked out this way. We shared the honey walnut prawns and combo chow mien. It was enough for both of us to share both items and take some home. They give you oranges slices and fortune cookie at the end of every meal. The chow mien was well seasoned & had plenty of meat and veggies. Very filling. Walnut prawns were cooked to perfection. Not over cooked could of used more sauce though. Overall food was very good and big portions enough for two ppl to share. Seasoned well and customer service was very very good! Megan said hi!

This is my first time grabbing food from this place since I was a little kid so I really didn't remember this place at all. I thought everything here was tasty and generously portioned. I will definitely come back for more! Chicken chow fun was delicious will definitely be getting this again. I got a sweet and spicy eggplant dish also very good as well as kung pow 3 ways which had chicken, shrimp and beef. I thought the protein was cooked nicely and a hardy amount.
