La Chamba Taqueria

I liked the chicken tacos. I got crispy shells and they were nice, not greasy, nor like cardboard. The cheese quesadilla was also really good. Glad to have a good taqueria in the neighborhood.

Everything about this place is excellent: the decor, the friendliness and efficiency of the counter staff, the timeliness of the food preparation, the cleanliness.. but most of all the food! The chips and salsa arrived as soon as we sat down. The chips were warm, non-greasy, and crisp, and the salsa was particularly good. I have been wanting to try La Chamba since it opened. Finally did last night, and so glad we did. The whole family loved it! Delicious, authentic Mexican food in Lamorinda .... we will be frequenting this new restaurant often! Staff is very friendly and nice. The ambience is fun and bright. The food is fantastic - very fresh and delicious. Husband got the carnitas soft tacos and fish soft tacos and did not stop raving.
