Very good Italian food. Ample parking. We don't have to travel miles from home to enjoy it with friends.
Always great foid and service. Quiet with a wonderful pusno player on the weekends. Very romantic restaurant with great martinis!!
We had very good starters and entrees, as well as delicious desserts. The service was very attentive. Only minor complaint was that the piano playing while good was almost too loud to have conversations. Less amplification of the music would make dining a more pleasant experience.
Celebrated friends birthday with a party of 5. Drinks were good, as were salads and appetizers. Dinners were a different story unfortunately. My eggplant parm was so overcooked, I could stomach only a few bites. Another in our party ordered the risotto, which she described as extremely dry. The minestrone soup tasted like it was out of a can. It's unfortunate as this used to be one of my go to places to eat. Wait staff is very attentive and welcoming.
Beautiful experience as always. Beet salad and the halibut special were very good. The piano always adds to the atmosphere and makes it a special event.
We came in on a Sunday, just in time to catch the live piano music, and it absolutely set the tone for the evening. Rodney (aka “Uncle Rod”), who was standing in that night, was incredibly warm and engaging—so personable and happy to take requests. It felt like we were part of something cozy and communal, not just dining out.
I had the filet mignon special, served with pillowy raviolis and topped with sautéed mushrooms. Every bite was buttery, savory heaven. We brought our own bottle of Nottingham wine, which paired perfectly—thank you to the staff for being so gracious about it.
Between the welcoming service, amazing food, and live music, it made for the kind of night I wish I could bottle up and replay. Highly recommend for anyone craving something special without leaving town (or in my case living in Alamo it was off our beaten path and worth the drive)

Wonderful experience. Family atmosphere and great piano. Food was 5 stars and staff was so helpful and friendly!
Nice night for my parents in their 89's to go out. Went early and so it was quiet. Staff was great.
Delicious food and wine!

Outside seating in the evening without a heater is not acceptable when it's cold and freezing. We had to cut our dinner short.

We went today for Mother's Day lunch. We were served very promptly but never rushed. Both the food and service were great. I had the Ravioli Ai Gamberoni, son had Sausage & Peppers Panini, and hubby had one of the specials, braised lamb shanks w/mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. All were delicious.
First let me say that I wanted to love the restaurant. Family owned, cute setting, support small business. We went for Mother's Day lunch and candidly I was underwhelmed. I ordered the Veal Panini special, it was served what it looked to be a Hawaiian Sweet roll that was in the shape of a hamburger bun. I guess for a $19 panini, I expected a little bit more effort. I could have done better in my panini maker at home. My wife had the beet salad (5 stars) and the meatballs were great. Service was great! Forget the servers name but he's the one that yells Brava! all the time. He took care of us well. Ambience - Clean your electric fans, it was super dusty and you can see it while dining. STOP charging credit card fees. It's 2025, build it into your pricing. Having a line item for a 3% credit card fee in this day and age is just silly. I drove 40 minutes to get here, again wanting to experience something different. I may have set my expectations too high given the Open Table reviews, but that's all on me.
The food is always great and the live pianist is outstanding. Parking is easy. It's definitely a gem in Moraga.
great food and service and added benefit of listening to the accomlished musician Rod Burge
We just came back from my son's rehearsal dinner. We had a separate room with two long tables. Everyone loved the food, and felt it was cozy and comfortable. The chairs were great to sit for such a long time. Jeff was kind to work with, and all went smoothly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any similar event. If we didn't live so far away, So Cal, I would eat here more frequently. Thanks Jeff! From Emily
