Great place to stop and grab lunch, or dinner and a beer after work. I got the Yuzu Miso Udon, it was amazing, complex, savory and citrus forward . Looking forward to trying the rest of their food. Service was great, was promptly greeted and had any questions answered.

Nicely decorated inside, plus plenty of clean convenient outside tables in the front. Absolutely fabulous food from a well coordinated menu of sandwiches, salads, and plates. Both of the sandwiches we got were perfectly cooked and presented, and we so happy we also had the wings - truly amazing! The iced tea and limeade were great,too. Worth going out of your way to eat here!

If it matters to you, YES, this place is owned by the same people who owned noodle theory in Berkeley, they have some of the same menu items with a few tweaks, but it is all VERY good. I'm partial to the soups and curries but they have excellent sandwiches too.

Tried their caramel chicken sandwich for the first time by the manager’s(or owner: who is very personable by the way) recommendation and it was appetizingly pleasant. It had a bbq zesty, spicy tang to it. Definitely going to return for more.

But what really stood out was the outstanding customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. We just took our construction crew out for lunch. I had asked my client, a local, where a good place would be, and they suggested Lou’s as the best choice. The client had said great food, reasonable pricing, and outdoor seating, which was a perfect fit. All proved to be true. The staff is thoughtful and nice. Our party of 5 enjoyed a variety of plates. A great experience.
Vegetarian options: I had the not-too-spicy tater tots and a plate with seasoned rice, macaroni salad and a green salad with tamari vinaigrette. It tasted great and the serving was more than I could eat.
