Always exciting to see a tasty Indian restaurant in your neighbourhood! New Delhi Bistro has a quirky menu that isn't all vegan (despite what Yelp led me to believe!). They have a good number of fascinating vegan options but there's another menu that is full of your classic favourites like Chicken Tikka Masala, etc. This is a relatively quick place to pick up food to go - most of it seemed to be pre-prepared, at least at lunchtime when I went. Convenient location in a strip mall with lots of parking. The only slight drawback is that it's relatively expensive for what you get. I spent $13 on a single portion of rice and curry and it left me wanting. That said, given the lack of nearby alternatives, I suspect that's not going to be too much of a deterrent.

The chicken tikka was water-y and lacking any substantial flavor. And the portion was half what every other restaurant of the same ilk serves (with no substantial savings in price). Fortunately, the nann was a real bright spot and enabled me to sop up the watery mess and get the tender (but also lacking flavor) chicken down. Won't be back.

This café is an oasis in a desert of a shopping mall. Mostly vegetarian food + a few chicken and lamb offerings. They are sometimes out of certain menu items, so I recommend calling ahead to make sure they have what you want.

Everything is so dry and bland!! I ordered Vegetable kofta wrap and Spicy Mung Burger. The burger is very very dry with a dry patty (made from lentil), few jalapeños (I think that's why they called in spicy), one tomato slice and that's it. I almost choked on the burger it's that dry. The wrap is a naan wrapped around vegetable kofta (veggie meatballs), and some vegetables. The koftas are again very dry (can see from the picture). Really bad experience, will never order again.

Delicious food, humble atmosphere, mindful and friendly service. Amazing for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free also! I love that they even serve Ayurvedic teas. This spot is so right up my alley, and being vegan and gluten-free I didn't even feel restricted in my ordering ( they have lots of amazing options ) which is sooooo rare!!! My new go-to!

Humble atmosphere, mindful service, great food. Will definitely be coming back. Seriously my family and I are always swapping notes to see if anyone found a great Indian joint since our fave closed. Found it!

Such a nice little gem in Moraga! They are also so friendly. Not a high profile spot so you're not likely to find them by accident but you should give them a try! Everything is really good. My wife is Indian so we're always on the hint for authentic Indian and New Delhi Bistro is the real deal. We enjoyed the vegetarian options (the wife) and the lamb and chicken dishes (me!) The Samosa Chaat is great. The lamb korma and chicken tikka masala were my favorite meat dishes. My wife loves the aloo gobi and the paneer dishes. You have to try the samosas and any of the fresh naan. Great local spot, definitely give them a try!

Tried the paneer wrap and it was amazing. Not oily and fresh flavors. The customer service is awesome. Will be back soon

North Indian appetizers, street food and the standard main fare. Simple and delicious. We didn't try the vegan burgers and fries, and instead ordered chole-bhature, kofta veggie wrap and samosa chaat. All delicious and not too spicy. Portion sizes are SMALL! So be prepared to order generously. Mango lassi was a bit sour. There's no dine-in but there is plenty of curbside seating in the shade and they come out and serve your order.

Missed taking pic of Lassi and it was the best i had in US. Food tasted well, mild spice and fresh. Lemonade was good too. Definitely my place for Indian food, when i next in this area

Love it here! Food: we love the food here. Compared to Swad the portions are much larger and better priced. My family always comes here. We have tried practically everything and it's always been good. Highly recommend the lamb shank which they make occasionally. If you can get your hands on it you're golden Staff: the staff has always been nice to us. They are genuinely nice people. Ambiance: it's not the nicest sit down restaurant but you don't come here for white table cloth. Overall: this place will always have a soft spot in my heart. Everyone I know loves it . It's a local gem.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. We have lots of different dietary restrictions and New Delhi Bistro allows us to each get something that suits our tastes and diet. The staff is friendly. The food is consistently hot and tasty. We love New Delhi Bistro!
