I am so happy to be back here sitting outside (inside if I'd chosen). The food is so darn good. This is the best meal I have had in weeks! I had the Barramundi. This is a flaky white fish served over noodles in a light curry cream sauce. There is also either roasted broccolini or cauliflower included in the dish. I went to tell the owner Sue...how this was the best dinner I have had in months. She tells me, " I am not the owner, but thank you!" Owners, if you are reading this, you are very fortunate to have an employee like this. Good people are so hard to come by. The way she always handles everything with a smile on her face, I just assumed she was the owner. Please, Noodle Theory, never leave us! This food is so good. And all you locals out there. Please support this business. We don't have a lot to choose from here in Moraga. We can't ever lose it!!! Thank you Sue. Thank you owners. And thank you, guys on the line, that know how to cook a piece of fish perfectly. One happy customer.

Feel like Moraga is a bit of a food desert when it comes to solid dinner spots but this place is an exception. Will be coming back.

What the heck took me so long to come here?!? I'm a s***** for noodles and it's something I crave at least a couple times a month.... But holy moly. I was in the area and stopped to dine in and fell in love. Huge shoutout to Sue for making me feel super comfortable while dining by myself. She was very attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations! The restaurant was clean and cozy. It's a smaller space, so probably better for smaller parties. There's a free lot for the parking. I started with the (honey jalapeño) tater tots and these things are HEAVENLY. Easily the best flippin tots I've ever had. Someone call Napoleon Dynamite! He's gona want to try them!!! 5/5 all day!!! Next I tried the chili oil wontons and these were also amazing! Buuuut since they're nothing special compared to other chili oil wontons, they're getting a 4/5 lol Then the main event! Sue recommended the Barramundi Noodles (Grilled Barramundi (fish) over Roasted Cauliflower with Noodles in Spicy Thai Green Curry) and I DIED AND WAS RESURRECTED. So so so so so bomb forreal!! I have nothing let to say other than I cannot wait to come back. Like forreal. Lol PLEASE check them out.

I have wanted to try this place for a very long time! I'm so glad that I did. The first thing you notice when you come here is how wonderful everything smells. In the menu, there is curry and grilled meat in many of the dishes. We tried the beef udon which has a curry soup base. My husband had the pork ramen. We also ordered the chicken wings which have a very sweet and spicy taste. We loved everything that we had and hope to come back to try more dishes. We Also saw that they sell some of their food frozen if you want to make food at home. A lot of folks orders to go as well. The drink selection is great too with some nice specialty sodas, as well as wine, beer, and cider.

The choice is vast. The food cooked right in front of your eyes and your gurgling tummy. The hostess / waiter was is super personable. Eating outside or inside as you see fit. We went for inside. The food was very tasty and my ginger broth was spectacular. I particularly appreciated that it was not too salty.

Very customer-oriented, I ordered a voucher from Germany. There was everything working without problems.

Love their coconut lime curry served with Niman ranch steak and crunchy bok choy. Always a winner. Service is top notch as usual.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, but I always miss their lunch hours. Today, a cold, wet, gloomy day was perfect for finally getting here on time. Got the Beef Udon, though I subbed upon for Ramen noodles. The broth was an unctuous and spicy, lime and coconut soup. The noodles and beef both perfectly cooked. This is the total package, flavor bomb with perfect seasoning and just the right amount of spice. Comforting and homey, yet adventurous at the same time. I look forward to trying the other menu options. Covid safeguards in place. Vaccine/photo ID proof to eat inside. QR code or menu ordering whichever you prefer. Smaller menu for lunch. Run don't walk!

Would never guess Moraga would have a restaurant like this! I get the (garlic) tofu & veggies dish pretty much once a week and it never gets old! The portions are large too so I could make one meal last 3 days! Would recommend to anyone living or passing though the lamorinda area!

We found a gem! Last night, we were watching a documentary on Ramen Heads and got us really craving for Ramen. We've tried the ramen spots in Concord, and wanted to try a new place that's relatively a short commute. We found Noodle Theory in Moraga! They are practicing social distancing, and they have a QR code at each table where you can view the menu, make the order and pay all in one program. For appetizers we had the Chili Oil Wontons. As an entree I had the Chicken Karaage Ramen which had a spicy miso broth. I love miso based ramen, and I felt adventurous so I tried the normal spicy miso (there is an option to make it non spicy) It's tasty! But with someone with a low spice tolerance, I will try it non spicy next time. The Chicken karaage is tasty! It's served on the side so it's dry and I could eat it over rice and be satisfied. I liked it so much I asked if I could order another karaage as a side - and thankfully I was able to! Next I dipped the karaage and soaked it in the spicy miso broth and wow what a complement! The flavors are just something! My partner got the pork loin ramen which is also very tasty and a broth that I actually prefer more! But this review is getting long, and I'll do another chapter next time we return and I'll get the Pork Loin Ramen!

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I dreamed about the meal I was to order. All meals and dishes we've had, in person or take out, have been wonderful! The Beef or Chicken Udon with Curry broth is our faves! Enjoy!!

The beef curry udon was very appetizing! The beef was very tender and juicy with each bite and the curry was very creamy and full of flavor. I ran out udon before I could finish the curry!

I first found this restaurant a couple of years ago when visiting my relatives in Piedmont and loved the simple menu, trendy decor and fusion Asian dishes. I especially love dry noodles with lots of garlic. I was delighted to find out they have a second location in Moraga. Like their Oakland establishment, they offer casual dining and very flavorful choices. Located in a small strip mall with an open kitchen and outdoor seating, the restaurant does close between lunch and dinner so make sure to check their hours of operation.
