We are regulars at the Town Bakery & Cafe. We eat there for weekend brunches and lunches, and once in a while for dinner. The food is off the charts, and the staff is super nice. They always make us feel welcome.

I was in the area and started craving some sweets. This was the only bakery open at 7:30PM on a Saturday, and I'm so glad it was! I had their Basque cheesecake and it's one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It's not super sweet which was super refreshing because I usually go for super sweet desserts.I'm looking forward to coming back earlier in the day so I'll have time to sit down and try their lunch menu.

Awesome place for lunch. The patio is shaded and relaxing. I haven’t had anything that disappoints. My favorite is the sourdough crust margherita pizza.

Never disappoints -- pancakes, avo toast, smoked salmon... Just excellent!

Homey. Relaxing. Great place for coffee. They make their pastries. Service is wonderful.

Literally the best local gem. Cozy, homey-vibe with amazing food. Outside seating is awesome. All the ingredients are so thoughtful and their side salad that comes with a lot of things is beyond delicious. Also great espresso drinks snd homemade bread.

My lunch was stone cold when it arrived. So, I asked the server if the kitchen could reheat it. Soon after, Tony came over to my table and told me, "the food was not cold, and if they re-make the dish, it will be the same temperature." He then pointed around the restaurant and said in a rather loud voice, "No one else has complained their food is cold, just you." I was stunned. My issue with the food wasn't subjective, like thinking it contained 'too much salt'; my food was objectively cold. Soon after, I got a replacement dish, it was hot. Once it was served, Tony returned to the table and said, 'I've been told I need to come to apologize, and been told not to talk to customers like that.' Well, at least he was honest. When lunch was over, Tony returned to the table for a third time and said, 'I will pay for your lunch out of my own pocket.' I refused his offer. The re-made food was good. I ate it. I wanted to pay. This was the first time I'd ever returned food in a restaurant. And the first time, I've been berated in a restaurant by a staff member. Apparently, Tony is the Town Cafe manager. In which case, he sets a terrible example for the rest of the team. Other than my interaction with Tony, the rest of the Town Cafe staff are very efficient and pleasant. But, I have to wonder, how long that will last given the attitude of the Cafe management.

I would give this place a solid 4 stars. The food is good and the portions are a good size. My problem was, my prep ticket was mixed in with my salad and I almost ate it. I pointed this out to two of the servers, one apologized and the other said "oh OK". Deducting a * for almost eating my prep ticket and lackluster response.
