I’ve been here twice and the food has been phenomenal each time. As someone who doesn’t eat seafood I think their veggie rolls are great, the salted plum and cucumber roll is so unique and fun. Everyone that eats seafood that I’ve gone with loved their rolls too. Everything tastes high quality and fresh. Service is good too! Knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating with my toddler as well. Prices are fair for the quality and portions!

This used to be our favorite sushi place but last Friday evening it was definitely not up to par. They changed hands relatively recently and at first it was just as good as before but now the portion sizes of sushi rolls is much smaller and the timing of food being brought out was bad—some of us got our food pretty quickly and some had to wait a long time so we were not all eating together. I guess others have noticed too because it was a Friday night and the place was almost empty of customers and we didn’t see any take-out going on. Definitely won’t go back there until I see a review that says they’ve improved. Sad to say because as I said it used to be our favorite place.
Try the spicy tuna, or handrolls. The sesame balls are good if you want a dessert that isn't too sweet. This place is my favorite sushi place. My friend's like one of the other restaurants in the area but I think Hanami's quality of food and flavor is better.
