This last minute choice wound up being one of the best decisions while on vacation! The ambiance was upscale but comfortable with great attention to detail. The entire staff were welcoming even though we were a later reservation. We really appreciated that.Our menu choices were impressive, but we decided on the filet & steelhead trout. Both were outstanding. The presentation was impeccable & portions perfect.We absolutely loved everything about Ladera Grill & if we lived near Morgan Hill would definitely be locals!

Food was good, service was spot on. My Dad had the NY steak and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the Rainbow Trout Special and really enjoyed it, and I had the Masterpiece. Good burger, not the best I've ever had but it was definitely above average. It a beautiful night but it's definitely on the noisy side when you sit outdoors. Would definitely visit again.

Ate here last night with family from out of town. Very disappointed. There are too many other restaurants near by with equal or better quality food and service. Ladera used to be worth the money you'd spend for a nice meal. We won't be back anytime soon. Calamari was overcooked and looked freezer burnt, replacement came right before meals, prime steak was chewy and tough to eat, fish had several pin bones that weren't removed, our server dropped the check at the table while people were still eating!

We came in to celebrate my wife's birthday. We ordered dinner and the food as always was very good. In the middle of dinner one of the women in the group let out a scream and said something is moving against my back in the booth. We asked her to move and we could see something was moving against the cushion going back and forth. It was like watching a horror movie as this thing whatever it was, was very big. We immediately called over the waitress who watched the cushion moving around and said OMG let me go get the manager. She came back and said he was calling the owner and that was the last we heard from anyone. No offer to move tables, no manager to come out to talk to us, just handed the bill to us and never came back. Too bad as this was one of our favorite restaurants but will never go back after that. So unprofessional of the manager to not deal with the situation and hide in the back.

This place lacks good food. Period. Overpriced crappy food Had the cioppino, tasted sour, hardly any seafood or pasta in dish.., had to request additional pasta...$8 more. Tuna tartare dish, cold food, rice undercooked. Don't waste your time folks. Bear photos on the wall. COME ON!!

Excellent Restaurant I have never had a bad meal here. Food always comes out looking great and super hot happy hour menu menu is excellent and the cocktails and bartenders are wonderful as well.
Ladera Grill always exceeds our expectations. We celebrated a friend's birthday and the food was outstanding. Everyone loved their meal. We were seated on time with our Open Table reservation. Our waiter was exceptional and so attentive. Even made sure the water glasses were continually filled. Besides a wonderful meal I had put on the OT Reservation that it was my friends birthday. They surprised her with a lovely complimentary dessert! What a lovely added touch to a great meal. We have been to Ladera Grill numerous times and we have always had exceptional service, and food, in a wonderful atmosphere. We will return!

Good food. Great atmosphere. Good wine. The Bruschetta was fresh. The ahi and the filet mignon mostaccioli were very good. Nice place for a little romance or quiet dinner. We will definitely repeat.

Service was good, they had plenty of seating when we came in on a Wednesday night. When I first got the truffle mac and cheese (4/5) in the past, it was REALLY good. This time around, it wasn't seasoned at all! Of course after putting a bunch of salt, it tasted like how it did when I first had it. Still, it tasted great after being seasoned and I'd still recommend it... after a little warning probably. I had the truffle fries (4/5) before and they were great then and they're still good now. Will get again.
While the food was good (most dishes) the waiter was terrible. Never came back to fill water or other beverages, or ask if everything was ok. Had to ask for a desert menu, rude when he arrived at the table, not listening and interrupting. Won't be back for dinner, but lunch is generally good and excellent service.
