Food: 5 stars. I had seared ahi with perfect fingerling potatoes, sliced tomatoes, caramelized onions, Al dente fresh green beans, served over a perfect vinaigrette. The green mista salad was super fresh and so lightly dressed. Do not get me started on the bread or the frozen lemon dessert. My husband, a vegetarian, had the polenta with fresh mushroom cream sauce with very subtle truffle oil. Perfection in every way. Portion size was not tiny nor huge; rather it was just right. And priced reasonably!Excellent wine list with many very good selections by the glass. Service: our server was fast, friendly, very knowledgeable and there exactly when we needed her and not when we didn't. Ambiance: this older classic Italian restaurant has a very warmand homey old school ambiance. It's neither fancy nor modern, but is just what you would expect. It is worth a trip from San Jose/Silicon Valley to Morgan Hill to eat at Mauricio's. Reservations highly recommended.

If you're ever in Morgan Hill and want Italian food, do yourself a favor and eat at Maurizio's. The time was 6pm on Friday night. The restaurant was full. On our way to the table, everyone greeted us with a smile and welcomed us with hello's. We were seated in the last table at the corner, which was perfect for us. The people inside were drinking wine and having a wonderful time. On our way out, everyone said bye and thanked us. All of the staff were amazing. The server was extremely knowledgeable. We were all mind blown by her immense amount of detail in her presentation when she told us the specials and all of the ingredients. She gave us recommendations and was attentive, friendly, and kind. She was amazing & deserves a raise lol. The food is IMPECCABLE. I lived in Italy so I am pretty particular about Italian food and have high expectations. Maurizio's is 1000% Italian food. I was so impressed and pleasantly surprised. Maurizio's was the perfect choice for my birthday dinner! Thank you to everyone who was working on 3/3/23. I am so happy my sis in law brought me here for my birthday dinner. It was absolutely PERFECT!! :)

I can't thank Maurizio, Daniel and their amazing team for hosting our Wedding rehearsal luncheon for us! It was absolutely AMAZING! The food was PERFECTION and the service was IMPECCABLE! It was truly a wonderful afternoon breaking bread with our loved ones. I was so engrossed in the luncheon that I didn't get pictures of all of the dishes that were served, but I can tell you they were delicious! We love Maurizio's!!!

During my last visit, I was truly impressed by the food. I indulged in a cheese and meat stuffed pasta shell that was accompanied by a delectable vodka sauce. My wife opted for the sea bass special and enjoyed it immensely. Although the meal was a bit costly, it was definitely worth it due to the exceptional taste. The service we received was decent, nothing extraordinary but nothing negative either.
Came to dinner with children. They had great food, very nice servers. Will definitely come back. Be sure to make a reservation

Been going here for years! Since they were operating at their original place on Monterey Road. Love the food and the ambience at the new establishment since Covid-19, I love the outdoor seating even more! Almost like being in Italy!

Went on a recent Friday night and the restaurant was very busy. The food was good as always. The wait staff made the experience special. They were so welcoming and truly made you feel they were happy you were there. Even treated to a special dessert for Anniversary celebration. We are frequent customers and have never been disappointed.
