I was disappointed when both MOD Pizza locations in San Jose closed. Though this spot is a bit farther, it's well worth the drive—the restaurant is spotless and inviting, and the staff is always patient, friendly, and welcoming.

Best experience I've had at a MOD Pizza. Usually the food's not all that great and they're shy with the ingredients. But this particular location was fantastic and the people working there were actually friendly. They weren't trying to be friendly they actually are friendly. I found that so refreshing. Because you have to work at being friendly and then eventually it becomes part of who you are but it takes work. And you can see that they have worked at it...

We’ve visited MOD Pizza locations up and down the West Coast and have always been big fans. However, we’ve occasionally come across a few locations that didn’t quite meet the high standards we’ve come to expect. This particular location was one we liked—nothing extraordinary, but decent, especially since it’s nearby. After tonight, though, our opinion has completely changed.
