This is a great rest stop between the central coast and Bay Area. HOWEVER, I am very disappointed that Peets had decided not to make loose leaf tea cups on site. I really used to enjoy a good cup of Darjeeling here. I even offered to buy a full tin if they would brew a cup but they still wouldn’t do it. They will stand on their head to accommodate coffee orders but will not make a loose leaf cup of tea. What gives?
They say they open at 5, but when you show up at 5, the door is locked. An online order says it won't be ready until 5:15. Sounds like they really open at 5:15. Why not just say that?
