Been frequenting this restaurant since moving to Morgan Hill. Under new management, the menu remains Rosy's and is just as delicious. I think the drinks are better now. Not sure why, but the shaken dirty martini was great! Seafood linguini was awesome. The photo has a description, as well as the Ahi wontons. Awesome, as well. Service was decent but at times slow. This did not affect the food, however. We visited on a Friday around 5:30 PM which is a great time, as it gets busy after 6. The ambiance is casual and lively with friendly staff and seemingly happy customers. Would recommend Rosy's for a casual dinner for two or a large group!

They make a solo diner feel like royalty. I ordered fish n chips and the cole slaw was creamy and comfortable, the fish was light, the batter was tan and fluffed and the MAI TAI addictive! The bartender a silver haired woman has been here for decades. At one point she had a leg injury and had to roll around on a car but she still made everything happen. I appreciate the loyalty shown to their employees because it is returned with fantastic customer service. I love this place. when the bartender drops something she yells Ropa!! a Greek exclamation! We hadn't been to Rosie's in many years, but found ourselves in Morgan Hill so decided to stop in. We were one of the first customers of the day, so our server ended up to be Mike the bartender. That turned out to be great for us - Mike was very helpful in making suggestions and answering menu questions. I started with the spicy margarita. Yeah, it was a really nice level of spice! Husband had draft beer from a local brewery (Kelly's Brewing in Morgan Hill, one of our favorites!) For lunch, I had the Seven Seas soup. All the fish was cooked perfectly, broth was very flavorful. I would definitely order it again. Husband had the tuna melt. Really good bread to filling ratio. Coleslaw was delicious. I did read some of the other recent reviews. We did not have those negative experiences, and we will definitely be back our next time in Morgan Hill, to try some of the other choices.

We had the perfect evening at Rosey's! I arrived early and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating serving me wine and an appetizer. When the other guests arrive, we really enjoyed the paella, risotto and seafood salad. They all have a varied drink menu with great selections. The prices were very reasonable too.

This is my first experience at Rosy's At the Beach since new management took over. I noticed that the interior of the restaurant was modernized and the musty smell that infused the space before was gone. The beachy feel of the place remains but without the kitchy decore'. I like the changes. Many of my favorite menu items remain on the menu but I was inspired to try something new. I had the miso-glazed salmon and my partner had an asian sesame crusted ahi tuna. The food was good. Not magnificent, but a preparation I wouldn't have made at home and the fish was fresh and prepared to my satisfaction. I didn't care for the coconut pineapple rice. The service was friendly and prompt but the servers kept forgetting things, such as that I'd asked to see a wine menu to order a glass of wine. They brought the bottle list only and so I had to wait to ask for the by-the-glass list. Then they forgot to bring it. By then, I decided I was too far into my meal to bother. I would definitely return. The comfortable and refreshed space along with the solid fish and seafood menu makes this my goto place when I want fish. Portion sizes were just right.

After hearing so many folks around me talk about how much they loved Rosy's we decided to give it a try. To say I regret that decision ... is an understatement. The service was great all the staff were nice and attentive. The environment reminded me of an attempt to dress up a 90s 'fish house'. Chairs were warn and old ... mismatched painting and mountings of fish on the walls, etc. I grew up going to fish houses ... my grandaddy owned several while I was growing up so I am familiar with the fish mountings and wood paneling. The food was absolutely terrible! The shrimp spinach empanadas with a significant lack of shrimp (and spinach for that natter), calamari fried so hard you could not chew them (oily rubber bands), crab cake tasted like a store bought egg roll (hubby and I still can't figure this out), shrimp and fish over fried, clam chowder had no clam in it (was relatively ok potato soup), French fries tasted like day old reheated Wendy's fries (they had that reheated fry texture), shrimp overcooked slightly mealy, fish over fried and slightly oily, tarter sauce was runny dill herb sauce and NOT tarter sauce (someone needs to give tarter sauce making lessons to someone around here), the tuna poke' was funny tasting and a bit slimy (so was the avocado). More on the tuna poke'... I ordered it as my entree. I took a total of one bite of the tuna which was weird texturally (please keep in mind - well, you all know I eat poke' alllll the time) and it had a slimy texture and weird overly sweet taste. I immediately told hubby 'this is odd, I'm not sure I should attempt eating this'. I tried to eat the seaweed salad off the top ... it too had a strange textural feel and taste. I then tried the avocado... it too was slimy. After three bites I pushed it aside and told waitress that there was something the matter with it and I could not eat it. She asked if I'd like something else and I declined. I do not think I have ever sent a dish back to the kitchen declining to eat it. First time for everything I suppose. About two or three hours after I got home I got sick and have been feeling sick all night. Currently sipping on seltzer water ... avoiding all food and regretting that I once again listened to word of mouth recommendations! I absolutely do not like Rosy's... in fact at this particular point in time I absolutely despise Rosy with a burning purple passion! 0 stars ... DO NOT recommend!
