Typical Safeway - The aisles are well stocked and clean. I could tell this Safeway has great customer service and is very helpful for those who need assistance. I came around 9 pm on a Saturday night and saw two workers walking customers with their shopping carts out to their cars. Keep up the great customer service!

Safeway did a weird thing Order only enough wine so On 12/23 and 12/24 the shelves are empty WTH up with that Thankfully the manager helped find substitutes that definitely were good but way more costly

I can't believe there's so many one star review but I'm given Safeway a 5 star because I've been here many times when I had a car I've always had help from the employees that used to work at another Safeway's..This review is for Cynthia. Michael in the deli department put extra care into my sandwich -- was polite, thoughtful and warm. The clerk at self checkout -- not sure of her name - is extremely nice and helpful. whoever hires for this location has done a great job. big smiles all around

I've been going here for 8 years. Workers are always nice and helpful. Besides maybe a few occasional of getting a not so fresh products (clams and veggies), their products have been great.

I'm giving 5 stars for the bagger by the name of Nicholas. I had a large case of packaged bottled water that he had asked politely if I needed help out to my car with during checkout. I politely said no as I tend to think I'm stronger than I am .As I'm loading my car I see out of the side of my eye Nicholas coming towards me. This sweet young man took it upon himself to come and help me load the water even though my fragile ego has previously told him I didn't need help.Turns out I did.This young man needs to be acknowledged for his kind heart and recognizing when an older gal needs help even when she says no.What a great employee Safeway has with Nicholas and I should've given him a big hug. I will definitely do that next time I'm in Safeway and maybe you all can as well.

Wow! Don't ask for fresh bread baked the same day unless you want a bunch of attitude. Even though they're literally RIGHT BEHIND YOU, you just can't take the one minute it takes to put them in a box? The charming guy with a major attitude says "They're already some out there!" Keep in mind it's 7am, there's nobody in the store, and everything out there is days old. Unbelievably lazy! Boy do I miss the old days of actual customer service

We mostly get our groceries from Safeway or Trader Joes, since there is no Whole Foods in Morgan Hill. This Safeway location is pretty good, the staff has always been friendly. I haven't had any issues with this place. We also get things delivered from here. But the recent delivery wasn't as good as expected. We had guests over for an event at home and we needed few things so I ordered online and paid extra for it to be delivered within a timeframe. They forgot one of my the items that I'm pretty sure I paid for. And I got vanilla flavored yogurt instead of plain yogurt, that would've almost ruined my savory dish. It doesn't seem like a lot but small things do matter when it comes to service.

Wow, I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews.I'm your average Safeway shopper and have never had any issues with this location. The store is conveniently located on E. Dunne by 101 and is in the same plaza as Home Depot. I've ordered a custom cake from their bakery as well as custom fruit platters for a work event. The staff was helpful and accommodating (especially with my fruit platter order) and the quality was good too.

3 rd time No Charm !! I hate to say that NOTHING has changed since 2 previous complaints? I love my Safeway store and location. Lots of nice employees. But very disappointed again! How hard is it for a professional butcher ( or so they should be ? Union?) 2 new packs of Rib Steak Bone in , purchased together, both packs have a steak cut on a tapper . (See 4 pictures -2 of each steak) I brought this to the butchers attention last time to see if I Am wrong thinking? and he said " Steaks should Never be cut thinner on any end??" "Steaks have to cook evenly ? " The store director was supposed to educate his store team both previous times to Fix this issue, but I guess not?Please leave me a phone Numbers of the director or whom ever you would like me to speak to , so we can address this. (3 times tells me someone does NOT care or know what they are doing? )

Online shopping is great and Safeway does a great job. They are constantly changing things as they improve. I try to understand HOW their system works and how I can work with it,Today I learned a lot to share: Rotisserie chickens are not available until 10 am,When I put my list together at 5 or 6 am this morning, I chose 11 am for a pickup time because I wanted rotisserie chicken tonight. I was therefor surprised when I got a text message at 8 am saying my order was ready for pickup! (What about my chicken?). I called customer service at the master Safeway (Oakland?) to ask if I got my chicken, Mary Concepcion did a great job of looking at my order and it said it was complete, but she also gave me the tel number here in MH. I called MH and got the pickup people and here is the story: No, there was no chicken because as I knew they were not available until 10 am, but they would be sending me a text message telling me I'd need to come back to pick up the chicken.I discovered the workers have to complete the order in a very short time 2 hours after placement(?) even if it conflicts with my chicken . A lot of good reasons for doing this, but it is important for customers to kn ow it, to know it. Thanks Yoli!

Rose's for Leading up to Valentines Day.Now this is not about me. Well kind of... you see it's my wife and my first Valentines as a married couple. I want it to be memorable. So everyday I have gone in to the floral department here at Safeway to purchase a single rose for her. The people that work this department have been amazing. They have bouquets all over and sometimes singles in the back. When they don't they are so nice to let me pick from one of the made up ones. They always great me with a smile and have been extremely helpful. I will say I came here on the 2nd after going to a flower shop in the area. I was not impressed with their customer service, so I tried Safeway. Best decisions I made. Thank you floral team. See you tomorrow!

Ok, I have been going to this store since it opened. And there are some great people that work there, mostly. But, ,lately in the Deli the people seem to know nothing! Not helpful and boarder on rude. When you ask them a question the response is, "I don't know ". We ask,"is there anyone else here that would know"? His response,"nope". Really?!?!And as usual No Manager available. Please hire better employees!!! Still gonna shop here because of the great employees but we are very disappointed in the Deli,smh.
