The City Fish had some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a while. The fish was perfectly fried with a nice crispy exterior plus light and fluffy fish. The fries were superb plus they’re also generous with the tartar sauce. Most places just give you a tiny cup and call it a day. I don’t think you’ll find a better fish and chips in this part of the Bay Area. 5/5. A+.

This was a very big disappointment.Read great reviews on how this place was so good but I couldn't even finish the crab sandwich. Dry and flavorless.The reviews also sold me a 32oz. container of clam chowder that tasted more like butter than crab.Won't happen here again. Good thing I didn't tip 20% at the register for take out, or I would be more pissed at myself than just disappointed.

I found this restaurant about 8 months ago and I have to say I wish I had found it sooner! First I have to say they have the Best clam chowder ever!!! I buy there chowder several times a week and if you want great fresh fish this is your place I’ve tried there salmon,tilapia,trout,sea bass,and a few others all great! There mussels are also awesome there menu isn’t overly complicated but just great fresh seafood! I also keep coming back because there owner and staff are all really great people they make you feel so welcome as if your at home! Please give this place a try!

Maybe they were having bad day. Fries were cold & soggy. Undercooked. Fish wasn't crunchy - lacking flavor. Everything was thrown without care into the box rushing. What's the rush? Quality > quantity.
