Taqueria La Mexicana

Love this place been going here for a decade and my favorite is hands down the California quesadilla but recently they changed it to replace the sliced avocados with guacamole which is really disappointing please don’t do it and bring back the avocado!

Excellent Barbacoa! Wow, the Super burrito is filling and delicious - love the little paper bags of cinnamon sugar flour tortilla churro strips for dessert to go - so good! I'll be back ?

Delicious quesadillas and tacos, glad to have a local taqueria in Mountain House

It's ok. Definitely not anything to write home about. Someone said best taqeria in town lol it's the ONLY one. That being said, I'll still drive 30 minutes to tracy and pick up from another taqeria. Is it decent? Yes. Amazing? No!
Taco combo plate to-go doesn't come with the little green salad like it does when eating there. Rice & Beans are good, portions are decent. But cost is on higher side for a taqeria imo.
Still wish they would make a damn crispy taco! They obviously have a frier for the fish tacos! But keep telling me no.
Wait times can be long even when it doesn't look busy.
All in all it's ok, I hope they make it because it's good in a pinch when mama don't wanna cook but needs to feed the kids.

The first few times I went the food was delicious. Lately, the food is so bland…no salt or seasoning. I don't know what happened. I couldn't eat it. If it is a new cook then find a better one. This place is needed here in MtHouse.

My family eats from here at least once a week.Today we are done. The past 4 times they have gotten our very simple just shredded chicken and cheese tacos wrong. Unfortunately they add whatever they want ( 3 times we have gotten a green salsa with onions) even when it’s not listed on menu. Orders on DoorDash, where it’s plainly written is even worse. You can only request a refund x amount of times, for me that was twice from the same place. Even with directions no pico, no cilantro no onions allergic,and pictures I was offered 3.50, on 3 tacos.Tired of wasting money on food no one will eat

First time & last at this place. Quality is questionable of a taqueria with a closed kitchen….you cannot watch your burrito being made and you cannot choose ingredients. I asked for no pico/salsa, instead just cilantro and they wanted to upcharge me &1.50 for that. I proceeded to order two burritos (a $30 order) and then they only gave me a tiny bag for chips…which I can deal with, but they will only give you one regardless of how much food you buy. The staff seemed uptight when I stopped to clarify this…a borderline rude demeanor of the ladies there. Was handed my food without even a thank you, come again. Business people, it’s the small details that count! Good luck to this place…
