Bagdad Café is a legendary Route 66 stop with a cinematic soul. It was made famous by the 1987 cult German-American film of the same name. This roadside diner offers a slice of cinematic history filled with memorabilia, signatures from global travelers, and a warm and welcoming vibe. The decor is delightfully eccentric with business cards on the walls, vintage photos, and a jukebox that still hums with desert charm. Whether you're a movie buff, a road tripper, or just chasing the spirit of the open highway, this place delivers nostalgia. When I visited the Café, only coffee and non-alcoholic cold drinks were available. Andrea Pruett, the owner, is determined to keep the cafe open and running as a tourist attraction for photo opportunities, drinks, and souvenirs, allowing visitors to see the movie's iconic interior.

For those who loved the movie "Out of Rosenheim," this is a truly special place, and the people who run it are even more special. A must-see on Route 66.
It's such a pretty and unique place to have lunch in. The staff is so friendly and the food was delicious. Can't wait till our next road trip to stop by again. ,,,,

This spot is a joke only here to scam the world tourist crowd trying to see the restaurant in the selfie they shoot they don't even serve food out of the kitchen years back I was served the worst food I've ever seen come out of a restaurant
It's a movie also.
The place thrilled me, obviously after watching the movie I loved, but unfortunately it gave me the impression of being run by people who have no love for this place. The place is rather neglected and messy, bathrooms "out of order", no proposal for something to eat, only drinks, I would say a little 'for those who take a detour into the desert.
It is a check-in point on Route 66, which is very interesting.

Such a cool place 🤩
Could it be that Willie Nelson was there on 23. May?
A must see and must meet on Route66. For those who have seen the film this place brings a funny melancholy. For those who did not see the film is ts just a great place full of memories. We had an interesting and moving conversation with the people that run the place. They deserve our admiration and support.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie location. When I arrived, there were two bikers in front of the door. I said hello and they looked at me very unfriendly and intimidating. The Trump sign on the outside was disturbing. Wanted to buy souvenirs , never made it through the door.
Im not an old European, but its still cool to visit an institution. Thank you for having me Baghdad Cafe
They don't serve food there anymore they haven't served food there for 5 years.
This place no longer serves food. It's got friendly staff and a lot of history but is need a serious repair.
a mythical place for me that is lived in the inspiration of the release of the film in 1987 we all had in mind the music of this film and I really wanted to see this place. I was a little disappointed it's super old certainly it has lived since but it's dirty the smell is horrible full of dogs have taken over the place and I didn't expect it at all it's nothing mythical for me anymore the owners are old enough and not super clean, but are nice. This place lived thanks to tourists. There are still these iron caravans and the biggest attraction is Route 66 which passes in front of
