I miss Light and Healthy!!! Jack, Miguel, and all the staff. Absolutely the best Sushi!!! Sushi Chefs are so talented and friendly. Best fresh quality of fish. The skills are the best and presentation is amazing. We moved to Smithfield, Virginia and have been very disappointed with all the Sushi restaurants here.

I’ve lived in Japan. I love food. This is goooooood! Crispy Salmon skin salad. Unagi was just right. Even the tempura shrimp heads. Itsmaesan came out to chat with us. Just like a Yokohama neighborhood izakaya but here in SC :)

Some of the freshest Sushi, Sashimi and Nigiri around, I legit drive 45min to an 1 hr 10 min depending on traffic just to eat here. All you can eat but its not your typical all you can eat. I love the white fish Sashimi and the Spicy Tuna Salad.

Use to come here since it was very close. First couple times was great but the main chef and older Asian lady started to get more and more weird. He would tell us he’s closed when they would have an hour before closing. Last time we called and asked if they had seating for my family of 4 he said “come now we have it for 10 min” showed up in 8 minutes and he tried to split my family up to sit separate across the bar with the babies. When I said no thank you he yelled out in front of the whole restaurant “okay byyeee”Extremely odd people. His wife I think means well but would make us very uncomfortable always trying to touch my kids while we were trying to eat Place is extremely dirty as well the last time we went in and looked like the booths are not available anymore. Would not recommend for mediocre expensive sushi. Kinza is much better for the same price and have an awesome staff

I used to come here regularly. It is over a 40 mile trip, but the sushi i well worth it. Saturday night was rather busy, but the food is still excellent. Had to wait turns sitting at the sushi bar for AYCE, but our chef was very good at keeping the sushi flowing. Spicy Tuna salad is always fantastic . New item i had never tried is a Spicy Octopus Salad. Out of this world delicious . Prices have gone up, so for AYCE sushi, it is considerably more than most places i go to. But for those two options, i will definitely make this trip at least once a week. Dinner after a trip to Magic Mountain. They got more waiters, si the service is even better than before.

I had an amazing experience with Ricardo, great atmosphere, very good quality and overrall pleasant experience. I trusted his judgment with each order that I placed with their all You can eat. I highly recommend that way. I am excited to go back again as this was my first time there and the best all you can eat sushi I had, and I have been to many places over the years.

They have been around for a long time so I understand the loyalty factor but I feel it’s overhyped. There is a strong smell of fry oil (no ventilation). Your clothes will smell afterwards. Food is ok but the atmosphere and service leaves a lot to be desired.
Nice food but not very fun Sushi Chefs. Don’t make you feel very comfortable. And they close at 9:00 not 9:30 on Saturday. Kinda seemed like we were just wanting to go home and get out of there.

Best traditional sushi in SCV. Been coming here for 30 yrs and always have consistently good food. All you can eat is the way to go if you are a big eater. If you like fancy rolls then this is probably not the place for you. Atmosphere is hole in the wall-ish and has not changed in 30 yrs but is perfect. Hidden gem in Newhall.
Got the all you can eat at the sushi bar and I was impressed by the quality and taste of the fish. I’ve been looking for a good AYCE sushi restaurant and this will be my go to place. I got orders of salmon, tuna and squid sushi and hand rolls and they all tasted great.
