First time here I got the enchiladas verde husband got the chicken mole both were very good and the staff were great making sure drinks chips and salsa were replenished not having to ask or wait was great

This is the first time we have tried this restaurant. The menu looked quite enticing with a contemporary spin on Mexican cuisine. However, the proof is in the pudding as they say. For me my expectations fell short, unfortunately. I would say the overall feeling is that everything seemed under seasoned. It's amazing what a little bit of salt will do to improve the flavor of a dish. We ordered the chicharrones. We were underwhelmed at best. While the idea sounded really good the execution was rather bland. The guacamole was just smashed avocado. I did not taste any garlic, salt, cilantro. Which is what one would expect in the most basic guacamole. They forgot to put the smoked tomatillo salsa on the platter which I was looking forward to trying. Although the guava preserve tasted good, I would advise to watch the seeds. They are like little rocks and actually fractured my boyfriends tooth as it turned out. They really should strain those seeds out. The main entrees were two tacos. I love tacos! My boyfriend ordered the short rib taco and the chorizo taco. Sounded yummy. He liked the short rib taco and I tried it and it was very good. He ordered the side of beans and I ordered the cilantro rice which tasted good but it was cold. I wasn't expecting that. I ordered the chorizo taco and the bone marrow taco. The presentation was alright. but what was missing for me was the acid component. I love bone marrow and it was cooked decently but it really needs contrast with something acidic to balance it out. A squeeze of lime simply won't do it. I could have used some pickled onions at least. I did not care for the chorizo, the cheese, and sauce that was served with it. It resulted in a solid mass that was congealed and just became one giant overcooked patty. I did not care for flour tortillas because they became rather chewy and greasy soaking up all the fat that came from the chorizo and the bone marrow. I am sorry to have to post a mostly negative review because I was really looking forward to it. The staff were nice enough but I don't feel that I would return. If there were more positives I would probably come back and try a few more dishes.

This was my first time going here and it was a good experience. For drinks I tried the pineapple margarita and kiwifruit margarita. My sister's ordered a beer and a drink called como la flor and la paloma. For food I tried the Chicano toast and both my sisters ordered a steak bowl. The restroom was clean but it had no toilet paper.

Such a great place!!! I had two tacos with rice . They were so delicious!!! My husband had the green enchiladas and he loved them. The margaritas were so good too... The service was amazing... We can not wait to go again.. I highly recommend this restaurant!
