I'm not an expert in Japanese restaurants, but this one has been the most disappointing so far. I thought it would be something good because of its Mexican-Japanese fusion, but it really didn't live up to the expectations. The tempura shrimp had no flavor, the fried calamari was just as bad, and the rolls were only average (3/5). The staff was very friendly and the place looks nice, but the food was a big letdown.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! You really can’t compare it to other sushi restaurants though. It would be like comparing In n Out to the Habit; both great but different. Zushingaso is an amazing Mexican fusion sushi experience. Even the names of the rolls are awesome! They have delicious sushi and we always order the crispy rice spicy tuna or baked green muscles as an appetizer.

The waiters don't treat people well, they are rude, that's why the restaurant is empty because of the waiters' behavior.

Had the ayce and the menu says if there are leftovers it will be ten dollars more. We finished our meal and had some leftovers so we told the waitress we would pay the ten extra dollars and take it home. She proceeded to charge us an additional $48 for our leftovers and an iced tea which she said was included with our meal. When it was brought to her attention she played dumb and started talking down to us as if we didn't clarify things prior to ordering. She said we weren't welcome back after we paid our bill. Needless to say, although the food itself was good that poor service has made it to where we would not go again anyways. I hope to God they fix the rude waitress and make her relearn her own menu or clarify things on their menu more clearly to customers.
