I used to go here as a kid but it was Japanese, but the new Korean cuisine was top tier the food was good, service, and probably the best atmosphere I've witnessed highly recommend if your around the area looking for Korean cuisine to eat with family or friends. 👍👌

Absolutely solid spot for Korean food in Santa Clarita.

Staff is very friendly, there are two younger girls running tables and an older woman who occasionally brings out food.

We started off with the korean pancake with bulgogi. This was a good and bad. The bad part is there was literally no bulgogi or any beef. Since it was the same price as the veggie - which we think they brought by mistake - we didn't say anything especially since the girls were so busy running the entire restaurant. It was super crispy and crunchy on the outside thanks to the corn flakes which added some sweetness, but the sweetness wasn't exactly a high point. It actually did taste better the following day after a few minutes in the air fryer. The pancake itself was denser than normal so that was different but I still enjoyed it.

The banchan was all great, we ordered so much kimchi because it was that good.

I also ordered the sweet potato cheese katsu curry plate. The katsu was SO crispy and delicious! You really get great sweet potato flavor and texture paired with the cheesy pork. The pork stays soft and juicy. The curry was thick, rich, and savory. The rice was cooked well and soaked up all the curry for extra flavor.

An absolute win in my book.

Overall an amazing place to sit and enjoy Korean food. Kitchen is fast and although it's a smaller location, the family style Korean food is incredible.

Adult beverage options are limited, which is unfortunate and very not Korean, but the food and the friendly staff easily make up for it.

If you want some delicious food for a party of 3 or more, then I highly recommend including this as an options. Due to the family style portrions, even though you can definitely go here with just 2 people, I think it shines when you have at least 4 so you can try different sets of food.

Food is USUALLY on point in this Jin Cook location. The taste is USUALLY consistently good. I've gone to other locations (one in the SF valley too yes) and I prefer this one better. Food USUALLY comes out HOT, fresh, appealing to the eyes (very important), and taste is USUALLY clean and yummy. There's a big long table that can seat 10 of us easy but there's also booth seating that can accommodate 4 to 6, smaller 2 person tables also available. This location's dining area layout is better and more spacious. It gets packed in there and busy but doesn't feel stuffy. I often come here at least once a month with my family and they're usually on point in service, quick to take orders, quick to bring out food, attentive to customer needs, often checks on people. However, I gave poor measly star rating for service last night for the female and male (unkempt appearance) young servers who were there. They seemed very distracted (or flirting?) and SLOW. We had to ask for the Banchan dishes to be brought out, twice. The first tofu soup I ordered before all the rest of the party (of 9) came in, took so long it beat the purpose of ordering early. I wanted to start off with it to warm up since last night was too cold. It came out second to the dishes along with others. That was closing in 30 min wait. Tofu soup that I come here for and usually get super fast, last night took the longest route. It had more to do with the distracted employees. The hot tea that my daughter ordered in the beginning, had to be asked twice and the girl server seemed like she forgot. The small dishes that usually came out with the utensils in the beginning HAD TO BE ASKED from a distracted male server and he forgot and didn't bring them and so we asked them the second time from the distracted female server. I usually don't say these things but the OWNER OF JIN COOK needs to be aware that something like this happened. Those two seemed having chummy times, flirting, hanging out, they were overheard having friendly convos while working and they were not shy about carrying on their chummy vibes as one pulled an empty serve cart and the other pulled another for dirty dishes. So disappointing experience. I will have to remind myself to redo this review on better times and experience with them when I go back. It's not cheap to eat here. Your prices are up there in comparison to K-town prices. I get it and appreciate it only because of convenience, it beats having to drive all the way down to valley or Ktown. But I imagine the price also covers the ambience and atmosphere. The heater is usually on and place is warm but last night it was cold and drafty. Did they forget that too? And to top it off, this is the killer. We had a child with us who wanted a simple curry and rice order. Tell me why they served this child LAST, after all the major adult dishes came out already and we had to remind them to get his food out?? Oh and that expensive braised ribs we ordered also did not have the cheese melt on top. So what was the male unkempt server using the torch blower at tableside for then? The usual juicy appetizing dish we always enjoy and order was very dry and uninviting last night. We got there at 750p, most sat by 8p, compete orders in by same time, but was served poorly and you ever feel like you got the remnant food for the day? The tofu soup on bottom of pot all sticky and slimy at same time? I've had this fresh and cleaner before and many times.

Miss Korean food and that’s the reason I went there. People are nice and food is so good. The beef stew actually is a big meal. Two people cannot finish it in once. So we decided to take away the rest. The sides are so tasty. God… that makes miss Korea more. Anyway, highly recommend it! Please do visit.

Ordered many dishes mine was galbi tang 갈비탕, they put neck bone or possibly back bone and it had an old off smell ! It supposed to be rib soup with ribs !!! The soup basically tasted like soy sauce and... mandu was just so so !
6 dishes total
If it's rib soup you must use ribs and don't use old smelly meat/bone !!!

Service was very good.👍🏻 Spicy Pork was the best but for Kimchi soup in my opinion it's not as good as I thought (only in my opinion but my husband likes it). A bit pricey but worth it!We'll come back again for Spicy Pork 💯% 👍🏻

Just ordered today via uber eats and their servings are 50% the original serving. There’s barely any seafood in soup. For their price point, very disappointing.
