This was our second visit to Jin cook and sadly we were disappointed. We came to visit on our way home to San Diego on a Sunday evening. The place was quiet for a Sunday. The service was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food however, was the disappointment. We ordered the spicy braised beef hot pot and the meat was tough and the selection of the beef ribs was minimal. It was more fatty than beef. There was barely any stew available. It was just the meat and veggies. We also ordered the new Rosé Tteokbokki. It was either not cooked all the way because moments after 3 of my party member got very sick after consuming. And I was the only one who did not as that was not my cup of tea. For a party of 4 a pot of stew, Rosé Tteokbokki, and 2 orders of dumplings we paid $200. Including tip. The next time I plan to spend that amount for my family, I think we will be going somewhere else which we will leave happy and satisfied. Making it worth the amount paid. This was not worth it for the food.

Food is 1/2 decent; service great but the kitchen is so backed up... got 1/2 of our order after 40 mins and they couldn't even get the order right... ugh

Jin Cook is a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal! They serve up generous portions with attentive service in a cozy atmosphere. The menu boasts tasty options, with highlights including their flavorful katsu selection and delicious Galbijim. Have to try their soups next!

On our way back up to the Bay Area, we were having a craving for Korean food. We were just passing through town when we looked up Jin Cook. We are so glad we stopped to eat here, as the food was excellent! Be prepared, however, for some large portions that can easily be shared by two people (and the price reflects this as well). The two stone pot offerings - the Cheese Tonkatsu with Curry and the Bibinbap. I was impressed first off with the artistic display of the cheese Tonkatsu, with a barrier of rice to separate the curry from the Tonkatsu - functional, but artistic! The Bibinbap also had a pleasing display. The food was expertly cooked. The sweet curry had a nice spicy kick to it. The bonchon was unique, too, as the kimchi was not overly salty or spicy, but rather it had a delicious mildly sweet taste with just enough spice to give it a kick. I am told that this is a chain of restaurants (and a new testing branch opened in Buena Park where we stayed for our Dizzyland trip - darn that we missed going, as it was only a block down the road!!!) Anyway, the waitperson was pleasant and was attentive to our needs, without being obtrusive! Kudos for that! Highly recommended!

This place is one of our favorites these days! Definitely more seating for smaller parties (tables for 4). The service is great and the food is amazing! This was our first time getting the Braised Beef Short Ribs and it's the best. It's a bit pricey but definitely feeds more than 2, especially if adding on the delicious Marinated Dumplings or an order of the crispy Katsu. Our servers are always so kind!

Came to JC today for lunch with my sisters and my sisters' BF today. The place is small but nicely decorated and the spacing between the tables and booths were adequate. There were two people working the entire restaurant and both worked in harmony and very friendly. The dishes we ordered were all delicious and the flavors were so robust. The portion was also good for two ppl. Over all we were all very satisfied with the place, the food, and the service.

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed! If anything I'm disappointed that more people are not flocking to come try this place! There's not many Korean places like this in Santa Clarita, so to find out that they had this one was surprising! Had their Jalapeño Cheese Curry Katsu! Service is really friendly and the place looks very Korean! Definitely come try this place!

Their specialty Braised Short Rib was good but the Seafood Pancake (too thick, middle part was uncooked, still had that thick flour diluted in water texture) and Japchae (it was lacking in flavor) were disappointing.

The food here is amazing!! My partner and I were blown away by how good it was. Also loved how cute the interior was! We ordered the bibimbap, tteokbokki with ramen and cheese, bulgogi pancake, and seafood soup. My favorites were the bibimbap and tteokbokki, but everything was very memorable. We had a lot of leftovers, and they were all just as yummy the next day! Our waiter was very nice, and the other workers were nice. This was a great spot to try after a long day at Six Flags!

The chicken katsu and their braised beef short ribs are my favorite. So thankful to have a great Korean restaurant locally here in SCV when I'm craving Korean food. The braised beef short ribs definitely rivals that of KTown's Sun Nong Dan! The wait staff is friendly and prices are pretty reasonable for good quality food. It definitely has the feel and look of a fun Korean restaurant and it's very clean. Lots of parking available too!
