A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people....
Customer service was great. The view of the beach and water is amazing. The food however was extremely heavy. All I could taste was the butter and oil they use so a bit disappointed in that.
Food was alright...barely, service/waitstaff not very friendly, atmosphere was the best part of the experience as it's on the beach. There are no restrooms inside.
Parking: There are no restrooms inside. You have to pay to get into a park to park your car and then pay again to take a shuttle to the restaurant and back again.
