Boathouse Bar & Stowaway Grill

My first time here. Bartender was great. We didn't order food but my family did and said its very good. We played pool, had drinks and had a great time.

Absolutely stellar food! Everything was amazing. Dog friendly place. The fries and coconut shrimp were 12/10! Truly delicious.

Beautiful bar right on the lake. You can have your drink and sit enjoying the beautiful view. Fish and chips are to die for and their hamburgers are huge

We had to stop for food on a super long car ride with three tired , grumpy kids all under 6 . We were treated so kindly by all the staff even with kids making noise and fussing . The food was great and we tried a little of everything but the sweet potato fries were stand out . It seems like the whole staff cares about the restaurant and the people who visit it ( even when you are not a local!!) if we ever drive through Nice again we will be revisiting

Great pizza! Nice staff. Lots of locals which was a fun vibe! We were passing through on a trip to Oregon and it’s always fun to visit spots full of locals

Most excellent food and service. Had the rib-eye steak, cooked to perfection and my wife had the pan seared rock cod. Our new regular spot. Owner/cook Cathy is awesome! Update: returned 7 years later and the change isn’t good. New owners have a burger and pizza menu and service is lacking. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place anymore

Typical local only type of joint. More of a bar that also serves food. 100% felt unwelcomed and singled out. Got a long bar with pool tables, where the usuals hang out and stare at you. Wouldn't recommend coming here, especially if you got a family from out of town. The outside area next to the water was nice tho.

*I was in Nice just house-sitting for a friend, and the Boathouse was across the street.
The staff there was so friendly and fun, and they treated me like I belonged there.
The pizza is better than anything I have found in Oregon, delicious crust and tons of toppings…truly a great pizza if you’re HUNGRY, and want pizza.
The bar is filled with wonderful locals and the best staff ever, and all of them make you feel apart of their scene. You are welcomed with warmth and smiles.
Then you walk out back to the wonderful lake-side dining/ live music/ dog-friendly/ lake side park atmosphere. Totally unexpected and wonderful as well. The band was great, the dogs were great, and the experience was amazing.
(Thank you, both Boathouse staff & locals for making me feel at home while I was a stranger in your world.)
They all made me feel welcome and safe while I was there, and I have zero doubt that anyone would feel differently.
