This place is awesome! Our server was very nice and gave my table of five great service even though the place was packed. The food was delicious and there was so much! When you go, be hungry and be prepared to take leftovers.

Jake was our waiter very attentive and hospitable. Wife ordered wild salmon I ordered the large rib eye every was most excellent. This was one of our best times here and we've be coming for years, we came early afternoon had 2pm reservation running late called host he was very accommodating held table for us 5 min wait when we arrived 👍. We enjoyed the early dinner a little more quite then an evening meal witch usually can and is crowded and longer wait if no reservation, great anniversary meal.

This was our first time and was not disappointed! Got in, got sat right away, and greeted by our server, Katelyn, within a few minutes. Food came out quickly as well. The calamari was outstanding! My husband ordered the 16oz steak sandwich, medium rare, and it was on point! Would love to come back with the rest of our family next time.

This is a top spot in the Coastal valley. An institution of oak fired BBQ and grilling. It's the locals spot, people drive from LA for this. Make a reservation or you'll be waiting.

This place was highly recommended to me and I was super excited to visit. There was a press on nail in our salad and my buddy had to spit it out. The manager came to apologize and discovered that one of the employees had lost the nail. The steak was great but everything else was ok.

Great food and always good service. My only wish is that they would improve the salad. All iceberg lettuce, ugh!
A friend recommended this restaurant, and the food was just as they described. This was the best filet mignon I have ever had. The meat was served exactly as I requested. I'll be back soon
Great food. Historically significant place to eat!

Both my husband and I ordered the “Spencer” ribeye steaks. My husband ordered the 16 oz and I ordered the 8 oz. My husband's ribeye came out as ordered (and it was delicious) but for some reason I was served an 8 oz sirloin steak. I thought maybe our waiter mis-heard me. So I ate half the steak. When our bill arrived, she charged us for two ribeyes. I pointed out the sirloin next to the ribeye in our to-go box. She said no, I was wrong. “That is a ribeye, yes smaller, and they cut it thicker”. I should have asked for the manager, but was too upset and wanted to leave. We are on vacation from Wyoming and specifically made our way to Jocko's. I bragged to my husband that Jocko's was worth the trip since I had been coming there since the late 1960's. I guess I could not trust my lying eyes. We won't be back.
Best Hamburger I have ever had. Get the one that comes off the Oakpit you will not regret it!

Still great, drove over 100 miles out of our way home to go to Jocko's. Filet was tender, cooked perfect and with that great Santa Maria smoke flavor. Miss the celery but the pickles are delicious. Only negative was it was a little over salted/seasoned, didn't ruin it but it was saltier then usual. Watching the prep guy, he was heavy handed with the seasoning on all the steaks.
Well seasoned meats. Come with an appetite!
