I was lied to by these Google reviews! The food was all from frozen and had visible freezer burn. We got the chicken gyro because the “lamb was cooking” so I thought the chicken would at least be some what fresh? Nah frozen chicken that was still slightly cold while it was served to me. We also got the Maxwell dog that was overcooked. Fries 0/10. Also a little roach friend climbing across the ceiling when I came back in to grab some sauce.

This place has the best Italian beef ever. I'm from Chicago originally so I like to think I've sampled many places but this place has the best flavor and bread of all. I now live 5 hours away but if I have the chance to "take the long" way to L.A from SF, I purposely do it just to stop here. Definitely make a visit to Stefanos, it is so worth it.
Wheelchair accessibility: The whole building is single-story and there are no steps at all. You'll be able to get right in easily.

Lil spot with a lot of heat in the kitchen. Looked to be family owned which was something I could appreciate. I got the Chicago Italian beef with sweet peppers and the Cajun pasta with sausage.
I recommend the sandwich with both sweet and hot peppers tho!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! new owner is a FRAUD - scam artist. he would not honor my $50 gift certificate, claimed it was written by the previous owner who no longer works there. but the gift certificate is for the business... it does not matter who the owner is. absolute clown of a restaurant owner. it is probably for the best though because the food liked it had gone downhill anyways. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Best Italian beef outside of Chicago. Very good menu. The Italian beef is top tier. Very good chicago dogs. Great outdoor seating. Service is awesome. If you want legitimate Chicago food this is the place. Giardenera is perfect. Cheese fries are worth it. Meatballs are also good. Everything on the menu is a winner. Gelato here is a great dessert.
Parking: Free parking plenty of spaces.
Kid-friendliness: Can order a plain hot dog for kids.
