I had this place on my radar for a long time and finally got to go. So disappointed. The food was just sub par. Very bland. I got the chicago combo bowl. The sausage was mushy and felt like it was days old and sat in a reheat situation. The beef was boring and flavorless. Came with 3 slices of slimy green peppers and sprinkle of parmesan. I asked for a side of mustard after my first bite and it took about 10 minutes to get it.

Grateful for these guys! I always feel like family when I come in, even if it’s 10minutes before closing- they still will take care of me! They are so good to us locals! You can’t go wrong with anything you order guaranteed!

This used to be my goto lunch spot. Appears quality has taken a hit over time. Cashier seemed inconvenienced by our presence. Stumbled to get our simple order correct. Ordered a Greek gyro only to discover kitchen staff hand arranging meat on a plate to later microwave for my sandwich. Prices are decent by local standards. Wish the love for all things Chicago would make a return. Was obvious they're phoning it in lately. I'll return to give them another shot in the future. Hope things turn around.

Best pizza in Nipomo now. Me &Ed's gave me someone else's pizza last time and Piwhole burnt the last one. I haven't tried any other meals here.

I was lied to by these Google reviews! The food was all from frozen and had visible freezer burn. We got the chicken gyro because the “lamb was cooking” so I thought the chicken would at least be some what fresh? Nah frozen chicken that was still slightly cold while it was served to me. We also got the Maxwell dog that was overcooked. Fries 0/10. Also a little roach friend climbing across the ceiling when I came back in to grab some sauce.

This place has the best Italian beef ever. I'm from Chicago originally so I like to think I've sampled many places but this place has the best flavor and bread of all. I now live 5 hours away but if I have the chance to "take the long" way to L.A from SF, I purposely do it just to stop here. Definitely make a visit to Stefanos, it is so worth it.
Wheelchair accessibility: The whole building is single-story and there are no steps at all. You'll be able to get right in easily.

Lil spot with a lot of heat in the kitchen. Looked to be family owned which was something I could appreciate. I got the Chicago Italian beef with sweet peppers and the Cajun pasta with sausage.
I recommend the sandwich with both sweet and hot peppers tho!
