I was with a large group (20+ people) and we were served in the room behind the main dining area. This was my 2nd visit there with this same group.
The first visit was served in the front half of the back room and I was pleased with the comfort, food quality, and the service.
The second visit was with the same group in a larger back half of the main room. However we were accompanied with 3 or 4 additional people.
My meal was warm, delicious and of sufficient quantity that I had enough for another serving although of a smaller quantity.
The temperature of the room was so uncomfortable as to be absolutely freezing! Myself and everyone I spoke with were very miserable with the cold!!! I was happy to leave without lingering over my meal.
In an attitude of fairness, I suspect the establishment was unprepared for our group and I would be willing to take the chance of another meal even though accompanied by the same group. I don’t know if the staff was unprepared for the size of our group but I would be willing to try again.

We waited for our food more than 30 min. When we got it, three of the orders were wrong and everythingwas cold. The chicken salad sandwich that my friend ordered was mostly lettuce and it was supposed to have a side of coleslaw slaw that never came. We had to request it more than three times until we got it. The only good thing about this place was our server, who kept apologizing for the kitchen's mistakes. Overall a $150.00 very disappointing meal.

Enjoyable, associates were polite and extremely helpful. Food was outstanding, being too full for dessert we took pie home with us. You can't go wrong with the pie, very good!

My brother and his wife took me there for my birthday breakfast. The atmosphere is so wonderful and it smells so good when you walk in there! Prices are great, servings are large and the service was exceptional!

Polly's is a great restaurant in every way you can think of. I just moved to this neighborhood a month ago and I've already visited this restaurant at least five times. I'm really impressed by their delicious food, excellent service and low prices. It's an old fashion restaurant with no razzel dazzle just awesome food.

Great place for seasonal pies! While they have all the usual suspects, we love to try their special pie offerings every time we go. The food is what you might expect from a good quality American cafe or diner and the prices are decent. After several visits we only wish the service was not so hit or miss……

The service was very friendly but I had to ask for things a few times and it wasn't that busy server was pleasant otherwise neat professional as well
I have been going to Polly’s Pies for about 35 years. Across all of their locations I have been hundreds of times. I even worked at the Fullerton location as a young adult. The food is usually great, though they do change their menu a lot and get rid of some favorites. The service at this location is hit or miss. A few of the servers are attentive with great attitudes yet the majority are pretty slow to refill drinks and don’t have the most welcoming of attitudes - which is surprising as they are (or at least used to be) extensively trained in friendliness and customer service. This service phenomena is generally limited to this location. The food here is also less consistent than at other locations depending on the cooks. When done well, the Polly burger is among the best burgers you can find in Southern California. The triple breakfast surprise is also delicious as the pancakes do not leave you with the lethargy than most other more processed pancake batters do. Polly burger, chicken fried steak breakfast, or triple breakfast surprise with pancakes would be my recommendations to someone first coming in. Most of their breakfast is served all day and large groups are well accommodated. Expect a 15 minute wait for breakfast on weekends and breeze through with no wait almost all other times. Definitely try it. If you are a veteran of this restaurant and want to experience all that Polly’s can be, try the Fullerton or Yorba Linda locations.
Great food and service.
