Speakeasy BBQ Reviews
The food sucked before when they tried to do regular BBQ… but I gave this place a chance due to the good reviews in the Norco group, but sorry to say this place is mediocre at best. Nothing special, it’s just another teriyaki joint. Portions are small and stingy and the food isn’t very good at all. Might as well go to Waba or Flame Broiler. This is my family's go to place for eat in and take out BBQ! My kids eat larger portions here than they do anywhere else. This is huge since they are picky eaters. The staff and owners are always pleasant and helpful. We love to eat here because it's safe to eat with gluten allergies. I recommend the potato salad, tri tip, beef brisket and of course the chicken. Everyone I have ever brought here for lunch or dinner has loved it and gone back on their own. Speakeasy BBQ offers delicious food, featuring top-quality meats and generous portions. The menu includes options such as tender steak, hot sausage links, brisket, tri-tip, pork ribs, and the Capitalist Pig sandwich. Recent additions like wings have received praise for being incredibly good. Sides include Mexican Street corn, potato salad, and banana pudding, along with tasty dressings like Thai peanut and ginger. The atmosphere is relaxed, with benches for seating both inside and outside, and a jukebox playing good tunes. Service is excellent, with staff being helpful and quick to bring hot food. Customers appreciate the charitable owner and the pride taken in every aspect of the business. This is not your typical barbecue joint, and even vegetarians find enjoyment here, with some claiming it has the best spring rolls they've had in a long time. The overall experience promises great food and great times, making it a local favorite. Although the space is smaller than expected, the food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. Some recent customers noted a shift in the menu, mentioning teriyaki options, but the delicious steak and shrimp remain highlights. With a cold local beer, it’s a great meal that keeps customers coming back.
