Angelino's Trattoria

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Great dinner, great service from Malick, and we met the chef, Angelo. Can't wait to come back! 🇮🇹

As someone who had their mother and grandmother preparing pasta dishes together in the kitchen, somehow creating a home-cooked yet refined cuisine, Angelino Trattoria accomplishes the same. Countless times from New York, Boston and then to Los Angeles I have been disappointed when presented with dry pasta and common sauces. Here the pastas are made in house. The sauces are fresh and vibrant. The ravioli dish that I sampled-with portobello mushroom and pesto could not be improved. The pesto was silky, not overtly garlicky that read of fresh basil and the earthiness of Italy's finest olive oil. I believe that I have found my go-to Italian eatery in Angelino Trattoria; I am looking forward to my next visit to try more items.

I had to find a last minute reservation for New Year's Eve because the restaurant that we had booked for ended up closing at 3pm on NYE so our reservation got cancelled. Fortunately there was availability at Angelino's—we had a FABULOUS evening!! It was our first time dining there but my husband and I always see it when we dine across the street at Ernie's. If you want authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere, you must come to Andelino's! It's a cozy place and of course quite busy on NYE but Angelo himself made sure we had a great table and came by several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! Our table had the seafood pasta, capellini alla checa and Chicken Parmesan and we all enjoyed our meals! And their Mixed Fried with calamari and shrimp was so light and crispy and absolutely delicious! We were also celebrating our friend's 60th birthday so the dessert plate was all decorated and with a beautiful silver candle! And as we were leaving (we pretty much closed down the place!), we were presented with a pannetone! What a wonderful surprise! We will definitely be returning customers! It was our first time at the restaurant on New Year's Eve. The whole experience was amazing! The food, the waiters, and the chef coming out made for a lovely evening with my friends. I will definitely will be back. There wasn't anything about the place that I didn't like.

We made our reservation on open table a few hours earlier so when we arrived we weren't on their written list. Luckily they still had room for us as the restaurant was busy on Christmas Eve. Food was great as was service. We will be back.

Went for a friend's birthday and loved it. The owner greeted us and continued to check in on us to make sure that we were taken care of. Lots of options for authentic Italian cuisine. You're going to spend some money but the experience and food is well worth it.

Came here towards close to celebrate my wife's upcoming birthday- we've lived in the neighborhood for almost 4yrs and are very disappointed we didn't find this place earlier. The quality of the food, the *genuine hospitality and kindness* of the owner and the staff, the ambiance all calls back to the way restaurants used to feel. Small, intimate, subtle touches all carry the message that this place is a timeless diamond. Will 10000% be back to try the rest of the menu and cannot thank them enough for the hospitality we experienced this evening.

The service and quality are very good

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place is a wonderful restaurant with great food, wine, a welcoming chef, and very friendly Italian waitstaff. The atmosphere truly makes you feel like you're in Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed everything!

Lovely little restaurant with excellent service and good food.. the problem? Portions very small.. i dont think it would kill them to give a few more ravioli or a few more ounces of pasta with the dishes..

I have lived in the valley for over two decades and have never been to this restaurant. I took a chance and I'm glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was superior to most restaurants in LA. The waiter helped us choose an amazing bottle of wine from Paso Robles. it was very, very good. We will definitely be back.
