Alright at best. My pistachio baklava and kaitifi tasted like pure corn syrup as opposed to honey. It had an odd flavor to it that Im not used to. Its a shame that this is one of the few options in Van Nuys/North Hollywood. 1lb for $18.99 is a lot compared to many places Ive been to in SoCal. Hopefully my next visit is better.

Baklava as a pastry is good. Service and dishonesty, however is bad. I ordered 1 lbs of baklava ($19/lbs) and 4 pieces of tulumba ($12/lbs). The lady weighed and quoted $23.50 for bakhlava and $4.00 fir tulumba, total $27.50. I asked again because I didn't hear it. She got mad and put everything in the bag including syrup (comes with a bakhlava) and placed them on a scale together (combining low and high price and freesyrup). She told me $30.
This is plain cheating of elderly customers. Shame on you.
It's not about $2.50 fraud
My coffee cost more. It's about a business cheating customers.

Sooo bummed, drove 3.5 hours to try this place. Google says it closes at 8:00pm but I walked in at 6:30pm and was told they were closed. Please update hours to the Valley Glen location on Sherman Way.

After driving past here a zillion times, I finally decided to give it a try on Easter. They were open until 5:30pm and this girl did not want to make baklava to go with our Middle Eastern feast. The gal who helped me was very nice and let me know which tray was the most popular. She also offered me a sample to try. It was so fresh and delicious!I bought a 36 piece variety of pistachios and walnut baklava. It was around $39. Each pound costs $17. Well worth it. My family devoured it! And I still had a few pieces left to enjoy at home.*Plenty of free parking in the lot. Just west of Cold Water Canyon on the North west corner of Sherman Way.*Great for parties of any kind*Absolutely fresh and stays that was for days!

We stopped in here to pick out some treats for my birthday and took home a little over a pound of baklava. They had an amazing array of baklavas to choose from. The chocolate ones are so good dipped in espresso. The woman working was patient while we made our picks and explained how it was priced by the pound. When she heard it was my birthday she gave us 2 freebies! We will definitely be back!!

Turkish delight is not good, for the money I’ve payed it’s even bad. I do NOT recommend it. Baklava is good.
