I’ve been going here occasionally for more than a decade now and it’s always delicious. What Jonathan Gold said in his old review is still largely true, but now there are more vegetarian and vegan options along with the excellent halal dishes.

The food is good for being halal, but THERE IS NO RESTAURANT SEATING. TAKEOUT/DELIVERY ONLY. Don’t expect a sit down restaurant.

I recently had their coconut cream with fresh 🥭 . It's perfect, not too sweet it is perfect 👌 worth the price.
Faves, Pad se ew with beef, mixed fried rice, veggie yellow curry (it's nice and thick) not watered down. Rich!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Barn Thai—their food is absolutely flawless, easily a 100/100. When they really nail it, it’s more like 200/100.
That said, my only gripe is with the spice levels on their fried rice. When I order a “Lava 10,” I sometimes get something closer to a “Spicy 3,” and when I go for “Explode 8,” it feels more like a “Heat 4.” Don’t hold back on the spice, guys—I can handle Carolina Reapers without breaking a sweat. Bring on the heat!
