Big Time Burgers

Ordered their pastrami sandwich combo.
It mostly consisted of bread (wheat roll) and maybe 1/3 pound of pastrami.
The meat was cooked with what tastes like American cheese and salt.
It was very salty from the mustard, mayo, pickles and the salt added when cooked.
The fries are fairly seasoned but taste packaged (frozen). Only thing reviving them is their sauces which they sell for 50 cents each.
You will easily spend $20 on this meal whereas other similar restaurants will offer more for you dollar.
I value this meal closer to $12

Their phone service can improve as they’re not willing to give you the price of their food over the phone and will hang up or ignore you when you ask.

Used to eat here alot as a kiddo in the 90s, the food is still as delicious as I remembered and really hit the spot! The service was wonderful and the gentleman that helped me went as far as to call me to let me know that my order was ready so that my food would still be fresh when I arrived. Service like this is unheard of today, it's refreshing to see that places like this that serve delicious, nostalgic comfort food while delivering great customer service still exist. Ignore the bad reviews, the burgers and chili cheese fries here are top notch!
** Also to add, the older couple that runs this shop are adorable and they deserve positive praise for their hard work ethic and dedication. It's highly apparent how much they care about their business and their customers.

Quaint little shop. However, the owner was rude when I repeated to him I did not want pickles and onions on my burger.

The food was okay. But I think it was a bit overpriced for its portion sizes. The lady was nice.

This is my second time here and I have to say they've got the best burgers around! I've been in this neighborhood for years and so glad I finally have had the opportunity to come by. Very nice people run the operation. Stop by for their burgers, chicken breast sandwiches, hotdogs, fries, etc.. I highly recommend!!

My favorite way to treat myself after a long day of work is to call in my big time burger order, take a nice stroll to pick it , stroll home sipping on my fresh fountain beverage and enjoying an avocado cheeseburger and fries when I return. The couple that runs this joint are always sweet and remember me every time I come to pick up my food. The spirit of this place, the couple that runs it and the quality of the food/experience brings me joy.

While it would be nice to have a few more healthy options, this place hits the spot for your classic burger and fries fix, and at a reasonable price. It’s your quintessential student hangout for the local Husky high schoolers during lunch or after school.As for the food, the fries are actually really good, and they also have veggie and turkey burgers options for patties. The owners are a nice elderly Korean couple that seem to run the place all by themselves. I respect their grind and dedication!Side note: Students, if I see you at Big Time without a lunch pass… no bueno!

Hands down the best chili cheese fries in the valley! Add pastrami (could have been a little bit more, but still great) great friendly service too! Love this place, will definitely be back. Pro tip- avoid the after school crowd, go early ?

Rude customer service food is ok but over prices for the portion. They also have no public restrooms for customers and my children needed to use it since we traveled from far.

Imagine it’s Saturday. It’s your day off; you’re strolling into Elysian Park, coolers filled with the makings in hand, friends in tow. Joe (the career cook) gives life to the coals and in mere minutes not only are you cross faded, but in between your fingers is a succulent, dripping burger.This is the experience Big Time Burgers lends to the patron daring to imagine.
