This burrito shop deserves a solid five stars! Their burritos are absolutely fantastic – loaded with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The service is quick, I will definitely come back again.

Place is still whack, not that I've gone back BUT updating my review to state that El Venado has gone to shit as well since the pandemic. The tacos have doubled in price. The carne asada is often too salty, and the fries are too soggy. Especially when they screw up the order and don't make them extra crispy as requested. And to add insult to injury, they are unwilling to fix their mistake. Nothing worse than soggy asada fries...yuck! This makes me feel like they're just after the money with no regard for their regular customers. Makes me wonder what else they would be willingly disregard for profit?

Not much to report on, as this is a little stand set up in, what appears to be, a auto salvage yard shop. Don't really know because we ordered online on our way to OC, jumped off the 5, saw it out of the corner of my eye. Wife stopped in the driveway, I jumped out, some guy handed it to me, jumped back in the car, and ate while navigating the 5 through L.A. Total time, less than 2 minutes. The burrito (OG breakfast with steak and bacon) was absolutely delicious, the bomba sauce (kind of a creamy chipotle) really added to the taste, and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone says how big they are, but they are just about the same size as every other large breakfast burrito. But, it was exactly what we needed, served up quickly. No ambiance, no social interaction, just a great breakfast burrito, eaten in our car.

I came here after seeing all the hype on those popular LA-based IG pages. First off I have to say that the staff is nice, nothing wrong with them and I think they do a great job. Secondly, this is a tent, so expect to look for parking which shouldn't be too hard to find - at least when I went. Third is the food... I liked the food, but it wasn't spectacular and didn't live up to the hype. All that warm cheesiness you see on the posts, forget about it. I don't know, maybe I just wasn't lucky, but it was okay. I really say this in the least snobbish way, the food is good and worth stopping by to taste for yourself, but also don't expect the most unique burrito you've ever had. I'll definitely be coming back just because I like giving places a few chances before I have a set, established view on them.

My breakfast burrito was really good..the only problem was that it was the wrong burrito! I DoorDashed 2 burritos for myself and another person, but since they mislabeled our burritos we ended up with the wrong ones. Unfortunately, by the time we found out it was too late. I ordered the regular breakfast burrito with bacon but got the OG burrito instead. The good thing was that I still enjoyed it and I wasn't trying to track calories that day, but I could see this mistake being way more of a problem for anyone who's vegetarian. Overall, the burrito was delicious but not the best breakfast burrito I've had. If you haven't tried this place yet, I do recommend you give it a shot.

I got the bacon burrito, it was big for me and I can eat a lot. It was really good and the salsa it comes with taste good too. It’s not too dry and not to wet. The burrito holds together and doesn’t become too soggy or fall apart. It comes with this cool red tortilla. Most people, I see park in the gas station parking lot. You can also park down the street. It’s easy to miss this place because it’s tucked into a small driveway. But it’s right next to the gas station. Highly recommend!

Please try the OG burritos! I had this place bookmarked before visiting california, we made the 40 minute drive and these burritos were completely worth it! The price is also really affordable considering how huge these burritos are. 10/10
I'm going to stop coming to this place , i would come here a lot but the customer service is terrible and the fat guy there is the rudest person. Makes you hate coming here. He's rude and talks crap under his breath. Looking like he hates his life. He doesn't think I understand Spanish calling me a "baboso" when I come here very often. Idk if the owners are okay with this man representing their business but if you come here often I'm sure you know which guy out of the two it is. And if you don't once you get there you'll see which guy hates his life and hates being there

The quality has dropped. The egg is a watery mess, dilutes all the flavor of everything else. Definitely inconsistent in their quality won't be stopping by on my drives past LA anymore.

Came here with my friend during Super Bowl weekend and was amazed. I ordered a steak bowl while my friend ordered the Surf & Turf I believe it's called. We really enjoyed our meals. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend this joint
