Had it once. But I remember the company and not the ice cream. It was good I'm sure

We were waiting to see Godzilla x Kong at the Regal theater and it was a pretty long wait. Walking around, we noticed Creamistry and decided to check them out. My 1st turn off was when the guy at the counter suddenly turned and walked to the back as soon as I approached him. How rude, I thought. A couple of minutes later, a young lady approached and took our orders. Despite her totally unprofessional co-worker, she was very polite and friendly. The orders were paid for and the wait was not long. Everything seemed fresh, especially the fruits. The ice cream was awesome. When we were done and leaving, I asked the young lady who had helped earlier more about that company because I've never heard of them. Not to seem rude or complicated but I simply asked how were they different from other ice cream companies and she explained completely and in a polite fashion, as her coworkers looked on. Unfortunately, I no longer live in that area anymore but I do train a block away from them. So I am sure that I will return soon.

Let’s start with the good thing… delicious fresh ace cream, and the dry ice show is worth the trip. On the other hand, They could use a little smile, I think… lots of kids going there and it was intimidating to see them very serious like they were forced to work there or perhaps they were having a bad day. I don’t remember the first time cuz I was in a hurry but the second trip there had more memories.

Super yummy + dense ice cream.I got the regular captain crunch ice cream and it was suuuuper good. Since it's made with nitrogen, there is virtually no air bubble within the ice cream, resulting in a super dense and creamy taste. The total was around $10 which yes, is pricy but it does require extra work to make the ice cream. It's worth it occasionally and yummy to treat yourself with!I got an oat based captain crunch- super dairy free friendly since you can combine with different requests.Service was super nice and if it's your first time, you'll like the mini show it comes with. There are lots of seats to eat inside :)

I was absolutely blown away by how delicious this place was! I would 100% recommend it. The fact that they have both a dairy and vegan option for your "ice cream" base is the best. I took my step mom here and it was such a great experience. I got a large strawberry bond but substituted cookie butter ice cream for the Madagascar vanilla bean, and then added butter cake bites to go on the middle and the top. It was PHENOMENAL! My stepmom got the strawberry shortcake as is and she was sooooo happy. The lady making our ice cream (Chandhi) was so sweet and gave such wonderful service all around I had to leave her a good tip. It was such a chill environment, I would highly recommend you guys checking out this place.

I'm not sure what the deal is. My friends and I wanted ice cream and this came up as something new in the area. It looks like they use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream as they are making it (I found this out online, there isn't an explanation in the store that I could see). The ice cream was very good and very dense, but it takes a while to make (even when there's no one else in the store) and the staff don't care. It would have been very helpful if a staff member had invested some time in engaging us and sharing why the place is special. The prices are also special. I understand now that the process is very expensive, but at the time I thought it was just regular ice cream.

The ice cream was super fantastic! I've made liquid nitrogen ice cream before and this stuff was top notch. And as if that wasn't great enough, they blend the flavors of their special concoctions to perfection. I highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: They have a list of their items listing any food allergies. It was really great for someone that came with me.

this place is so good. i remember when i first came here and i felt like a little kid in a toy store. it was MAGICAL watching them make the ice cream with the crazy nitrate (i believe) machines. i don't know what it is but the ice cream just tastes unmatched

Creamistry has delicious treats that practically invite customization, with SO many different options, it can be hard to choose!Just know that once you place your order, it will take a bit of time until it's ready (I'd say at least 5 minutes even with no one waiting ahead of you). The employees here work really hard! Most if not all their items are made-to-order using their liquid nitrogren process (forgive me, I'm not a scientist or ice cream expert lol), plus assembly with any other elements like mix-ins, toppings, etc. They have a freezer case with ready-to-go pints of some of the classic flavors as well as some ice cream cakes, so you can definitely cut down on waiting time if you opt for these, but it is a limited selection in the freezer case.Everything on their menu is completely customizable, and they offer non-dairy and vegan options. On my recent visit, I ordered one of their "Signature Creations," the Tropical Paradise (non-dairy piña colada sorbet, strawberries, strawberry drizzle), and I loved it - it was wonderfully fruity-sweet and the strawberries were perfectly fresh and ripe. I also grabbed a prepackaged pint of their cookies and cream ice cream which I wound up eating the entirety of in a single day - definitely did not plan on that but I couldn't stop eating it once I started LOL!The store is pretty spacious and has several tables for eating-in. If the weather is decent though, I recommend walking across to the NoHo West plaza and sitting somewhere there to enjoy your desserts.

Very expensive ice cream, you can get only on flavour at time and not that good ice cream

If you like really dense and creamy ice cream, there's nothing better than nitrogen ice cream. The nitrogen helps to freeze the cream instantaneously so there are no ice crystals. Unfortunately, there aren't that many places that do nitrogen ice cream. Most have closed down but Creamistry still has a few locations. This one in NoHo has a great staff. The best ice cream in L.A. Super rich and creamy, full of flavor, mix in anything you want. Some of the best ones are Quantum Coffee, Vanilla with fresh strawberries and bananas and Dole Whip (even better than the one at Disneyland!)

Walked-in not knowing the ice cream was made on the spot with liquid nitrogen, completely surprised as it's not mentioned anywhere on their storefront. Was delicious and will be back!
