Got bean and cheese pupusas and they are some of the best I have tried-- and I have tried a lot; even ones from El Salvador itself. And the price wasn't too bad at 2.50 a pupusa The girl helping us out was super sweet and patient. I will def be back to this little hole in the wall!

Don't sleep on this place. The prices are reasonable. All pupusas taste really good. Yes, i've tried most of them. So far, i can say they serve the best Frijol and cheese Pupusas for all of the vegetarians out there. Also, if you order the queso con loroco, add jalapeños for a tasty kick. The breakfast plates are very good. The Marañon and Maracuyan are really good aguas frescas! Stop by and enjoy!Note: Don't add the chorizo to your breakfast, it's not worth it. It's a small burned piece. The sweet bread is not good n the coffee is light. Also, Service is good when both owners are working, typically in the morning. If theyvare not in youbwill be waiting a bit longer. But Both owners are very friendly!

First time having pupusas and fell in love with them! Took my son here after he did a school report on El Salvador and we decided we needed to try some. The restaurant was clean, staff wonderfully helpful and friendly, food delicious. At the end of our lunch my son decided that from now on, instead of Friday being pizza night at our house, it should be pupusa night!

This place is solid, their pupusas and caldo de res always hits the spot. It's truly authentic, always super good. I've been ordering from this place for several years (and plan to continue to order take-out from this awesome restaurant). The customer service from the people who work there is always very friendly and polite!! Thank you.

I found this place due to my sisters bff, it's his uncle BEST salvadorean restaurant ever. They did not disappoint. Clean place, food made to order, My husband and I try to come here at least ones a week due to food is delicious always order 40 min before since we leave far and by the time we get there food is ready. fresh and friendly. This is a small restaurant in the Plaza near Bellaire and Sherman Way. It's very casual. It seems like a good spot to grab lunch or (in my case) a place to order food for pick up. CONVENIENT LOCATION - It is a walkable distance to the houses and apartments that live in the area which provides such a convenience if you're local (you don't need your car to get here). In fact, if you wanted to you could also take the 163 Sherman Way bus line to dine-in or pick up. FOOD - The pupusas were delicious; however, I will say I wish the inside of these pupuses were more proportional in stuffing. My frijole con queso pupusa had significantly more cheese than beans in it. Also, the revueltas were tasty but I have tasted better; although, this hit the spot just the same. In terms of packaging, I really appreciated that they clearly indicated what type of pupusa was what. As you can see from the photos, they marked the quantity and abbreviations on the paper bag so that if you were going to distribute it to other people you could easily do so. For my pick-up order, the curtido and salsa were included and well-wrapped (there was no spillage when I traveled back home). PRICE - As far as price goes, it is fair and probably more on the affordable-end. A lot of pupuserias these days are charging $3 or more bucks. Revuelta ($2.50) X 5 pupusas+ Frijoles y Queso ($2.50) X 5 pupusas_______________________________ Total for 10 pupusas : $27.38 I have come here a few times and will continue to return especially because after I shop at the grocery store (El Super) or hop off the freeway (170), I can conveniently stop by here to fulfill my pupusa cravings. ---11th Review of 2023---
