Nasty nasty nasty not same fish is fried old oil ..just terrible??
Best high quality, no fuss, hot/crispy/tasty, neighborhood friendly fish and chips in town.
This location was for many years, H. Salt and Fish. I assume they have changed ownership because the H. Salt has been removed from their logo. The selections seem to be the same formerly offered by H. Salt & Fish but the prices have dramatically increased.I ordered a piece of fish and two shrimp. The items seemed over fried but didn't taste burned. What makes fried shrimp delicious is that they are fried.but taste like.shrimp. The shrimp flavor just wasn't there though the shrimp & fish were pleasantly crunchy. The french fries were not crisp and soggy. At almost $18 the value just isn't there. I should add that the gentleman who took my order was very attentive. Also, a sign on the door states masks must be worn.
Super nice! Never had a problem. The size is pretty good and tastes great. And super close to me.
Absolutely delicious food! The fish ISNT salty and well flavored. Supremely hardly portions as well. And fabulous customer service.Thank you so much. Will be back ✌️
Food was jst ok, kinda bland, nothing big.Tables needed a good wipe dwn.A bit pricey too.Cust svc was ok.May go back 1 more time but it won't be a regular spot.
My dad loves this place. The fish size is good. Food is tasty. The employee is super nice.
Slow service, not friendly. Shabby establishment. Very mediocre food. Definitely will not go back. There are much better choices for the money.
I seen "Fish & Chips" ..... Had to stop....This was my best fish spot growing up...But that's changed......It's not the same..... Well at least for me....The fish was oily and the taste was no moreI'm now laying down with achy stomach & heartburn caused by the oily grease batter. And too darn expensive.I payed 25 dollars for 3 pieces of batter & fries.I rather eat at the "Shrimp House"Pay less and orders have rice, beans, salad or fries to choose from without the oily greasy drip.
If the food had not still been saturated in cooking oil, I would have gave it a 5 star. Portion was a little small for the price. The oil had a funny taste to it.

Website says they close at 9:30 I believe. I got there a little after 9pm and they were already closed up and gone. I was super bummed because I was really looking forward to and craving some of their yummy food
We were on a lunch break from the office but determined to get across town from the financial district to the wharf for lunch. We arrived just before opening and I'm glad we did as the line started to fill up quickly. They opened 15 minutes late which cut into our time, but we were first to place out orders and they had the food out quickly.
Well the fish and fries were cooked to the point of being burnt. You could smell the burnt oil. Either they were fried in oil that should have been discarded and changed or they were overcooked. I believe the problem was the oil. Concerned and I hope they remedy this. 4 piece fish and chips 19.95. They increased the price of each piece of fish by 50 cents. Which is fine had it been prepared without the burnt smell.
No joke fish and chips, just like the Brits like it. Plenty of fish with great fish to batter ratio. Chips were also very tasty. In a great location, close to fisherman's warf, although an unassuming location and decor, it was exactly what I wanted for a nice, quick, filling lunch.
Wow! Best Fish and Chips I've had! Very similar to what I had in London. Not over cooked, not heavenly battered, not greasy, cook to perfection!
