You cannot call here to order nor ask any questions about their food, reservations, nor updated hours, because whoever is answering the phone, immediately puts you on hold without saying a word. The awful thing about that is, they constantly take you off of hold multiple times, just to check if you are still there, and immediately put you back on hold without ever saying a word. They repeat this sneaky, rude, phone routine until you hang up.

I don't want to imagine what that sneakiness and rudeness of their character is like while handling the food before it's served.

Some businesses have the audacity to just have a busy tone, voicemail, or simply just let the phone ring until someone is free to answer it, but whoever is answering the phone went far and beyond to act with disgust- multiple times.

Hayat’s Kitchen delivers truly authentic, beautifully prepared food in a fantastic setting. The open grill/shawarma adds to the experience, and the outdoor seating creates such a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was a 10/10, and the desserts were next level—spectacular from start to finish.

⭐️ 1 Star — Looks good, but not worth the attitude.

Hayat’s Kitchen might look like a great spot from the outside — and honestly, the food that went by our table looked delicious — but good luck getting past the surly servers to actually enjoy any of it.

We brought a bottle of wine with us, exactly as we were told we could. We had even called earlier in the day to confirm, and the person on the phone said it was totally fine to bring our own wine. But after we sat down, suddenly it was “absolutely no alcohol allowed.” No explanation, no apology, just a flat refusal delivered with attitude. When we tried to clarify — politely — we were met with more dismissiveness, as if we were the problem for believing the information their own staff gave us.

At that point, who knows what the real policy is? Clearly, consistency and basic customer service aren’t priorities here.

The food may look great, but with service this unfriendly and contradictory, it’s just not worth it. Plenty of places serve amazing Middle Eastern food and treat their customers with respect. This isn’t one of them.

**The Environment:**
The atmosphere at Hayat’s Kitchen is nothing short of inviting. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with soft Mediterranean music, warm lighting, and a décor that perfectly balances elegance with comfort. The interior is adorned with subtle cultural touches—ornate lanterns, handcrafted ceramics, and olive-toned hues that create a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. Whether you’re there for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a casual lunch, the environment instantly makes you feel at home. The seating is comfortable and spacious, offering privacy without isolation, and the cleanliness of the entire restaurant is absolutely impeccable. It’s clear that every detail—from the neatly set tables to the sparkling glassware—has been thoughtfully managed to ensure an elevated dining experience.

**The Food:**
The real star of Hayat’s Kitchen, of course, is the food. Every dish feels like a celebration of tradition, prepared with love and respect for authentic Lebanese flavors. The **mezze platter** is a masterpiece—smooth and creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanouj, crisp falafel, and vibrant tabbouleh that bursts with freshness. The **shawarma** is perfectly seasoned and tender, wrapped in soft, pillowy bread that melts in your mouth. Their **kibbeh** is exquisite—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly spiced. The **grilled lamb chops** are cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with just the right amount of char, paired beautifully with saffron rice and roasted vegetables. Even the simplest items, like their house-made garlic sauce or freshly baked pita, are executed flawlessly. Every bite reflects a balance of flavors that only true culinary passion can achieve.

**Customer Service:**
If the food brings you in, the service ensures you’ll come back. The staff at Hayat’s Kitchen go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued. Even during busy hours, the team maintains a calm, friendly demeanor that adds to the restaurant’s welcoming charm.

**Final Thoughts:**
Fine Lebanese Hayat’s Kitchen is a gem that embodies everything a top-tier restaurant should offer: an inviting atmosphere, exceptional cuisine, and outstanding service. It’s a place where every meal feels special, where every dish tells a story, and where guests are treated not just as customers, but as part of the Hayat’s Kitchen family.
