I had big expectations because they advertised that they are better than Rosco’s. And definitely not close. It was a complete letdown. This restaurant is another Denise restaurant. The service was good. For sure not going back.

I went to this place to try it.. I did not like it at all! Very disappointed horrible prises food not that good my grandchild sausage was not cook as it should and the girls took for ever to offer refill on my coffee food was cold when it arrived to table on top of that they automatically charged me the tip. I won't mind if they give good service n serve good decent food but no definitely not recommend or go back there

Upper Reality
It’s always unfortunate when you walk into somewhere just wanting to eat food, and walk out with this deep distress that you have to sit around with for the day just because a server decides to treat you like you’re a waste of time.
I tried to get a plate of chicken and waffles and as I looked at the chicken, I was uneasy about the quality. In particular, there was one wing that looked old and…honestly I was concerned it had been re-fried? I didn’t seem to blame anyone but my own perception, but I didn’t feel comfortable eating it. As politely as I could, whilst again blaming myself and not having taken a single bite, I told the server that the chicken didn’t look good to me, and I didn’t find it the kitchen’s fault, saying “perhaps I don’t know where it’s sourced from, I just don’t feel comfortable with it” and asked for another meal that had waffles on it, just a different type of meat. She clearly, quickly, got mad. She became short, grabbed the plate brusquely, went over to the server counter where the register was, right across from me, to punch the new order and…threw the plate on the server counter. Like, in that way that signals to me that either she felt that I asked that out of turn, or that I just made her life an utter catastrophe, or , just very, very aggrieved…she went to go back to the kitchen, and I could see the chef from where he was sitting. He turned and glared at me in the eye. I mouthed “I’m so sorry,” and clasped my hands, and I was honestly afraid—would there be some sort of retaliation on my food? She just got SO mad, SO unexpectedly, I honestly got concerned, as if I had committed a crime!!!
The new plate got tossed on my table with little care, and the turkey bacon was very, very undercooked. Shaken and unsure of what to even do, I just shut up ate it because I was so thrown off and just wanting the experience to be over so I can go do the rest of my day like I had planned to do. I quickly finished the meal trying to rationalize as much as I could about what happened, and left.
It is such a damper on your day when you get so unnecessarily mistreated like that. I was polite, and as accommodating as I could be and was deeply distressed by this experience. Looking at the reviews it doesn’t look like people are treated like this often…I could chalk it up to a bad day, or I could ask perhaps, which customers are getting which treatment? Regardless, I won’t be back.

My family of 5 went to Hungry Fox for my Son's Bday breakfast he enjoys their special Pancakes. All was Good, I just do not or will I ever believe in adding Service Charges to a bill. Forcing customers to automatically pay a Tip and asking for another one on top of the bill. This establishment is over priced as is but we knew that coming in. Sad day as my family & I will no longer visit this place again. We live 5 minutes away and would go their 3x a month.
A seriously good Asian diner in North Hollywood. I say Asian because the entire front house staff is and they have many different Asian options and flavors on the menu, which is a total unique change from the traditional diners all around LA, which is one of my favorite parts of this place. I also appreciated how clean and organized it was inside. There is a medium-sized parking lot attached for free parking and it’s indoor seating only. The restaurant itself is not very large so there may be a wait during especially busy times. The whole staff was very polite and my server was very attentive. Everything I ordered came out really fast as well.
Being that they have a lot of different Asian flavors I went with a totally different breakfast dish for myself this time and chose the Loco Moco. I had not had that in quite a while and it was a wonderful reminder of how good that dish is. I also ordered a side of buttermilk biscuits, and although the biscuits are not traditional southern flaky buttermilk biscuits, they more taste like scones, I still enjoyed them. Pricing is also very fair and overall it was a really nice meal.
I would recommend to anyone searching for a good diner or a great casual breakfast or lunch option.
