Jersey Mike's Subs

On September 23rd, I was hungry and wanted something remotely healthy to eat in the later evening. So, I thought a Cali Veggie sub would be a good choice.

I told the employee, black male with dreads, what I wanted. He did not seem very friendly or welcoming, and he did not say anything, but I tried to keep an open mind.

He already had gloves on when I told him what I wanted to order. After I gave him my order, he went to the register and pulled a receipt, walked over to the oven area, and put the receipt above. Then, he came over to the prep station and started to prepare my sandwich.

I was very bothered by that. That was so unsanitary! I wanted to say something, but I was trying not to make it an issue. Unfortunately, it was all I could think about from that point on. I should have said something or just told him to cancel my order. That is what I wanted to do. But, I did not.

I was very concerned about being exposed to bacteria and germs that could possibly have adverse effects on my health.

It is sad that I have seen many people (especially in food service) who believe that their hands are clean, if they have gloves on, regardless of what they touch. That is very inaccurate!

Suffice to say that this experience was very disappointing, concerning, disturbing, and worse, I paid for it. Hopefully, this location makes an effort to be more sanitary and do better. But, needless to say, I will not be returning to this location.

Will not be going back anymore because 1. No longer giving veteran’s discount 2. The guy making the order concentrated on making the sub behind me order 3. Was asked by guy if I want mikes way, said no, went and told him what I wanted and proceeded to tell me that is mikes way + whatever ingredients. Thanks I didn’t need to know that smarty pants.

Just went to jersey Mike's and usually everyone is kind and nice ? then there's Nash he asked if I wanted extra toppings on my salad and I said yes but no tomato's or banana peppers , he proceeds to say that's not what I asked and rolled his eyes
I didn't know the additue was a extra topping
Not sure why you hire people who hate there job and act this way .

They were nearing their close but staff was super friendly. They had lots of orders and my sandwich was dry. I hate a dry sandwich weakest Mike’s way ever. Thankfully I grabbed some mayo packets to sauce it up. If I return to this area I can’t truly say I’d return to this location and I asked the guy making my sandwich if he’d added oil & vinegar but it doesn’t look like. Even the paper it’s rolled up in doesn’t show evidence of oil. I’m disappointed.

DO NOT USE THE UBER APP TO ORDER FROM THIS STORE! their system is set up to not honor the supposed "buy one get one free" promotion they offer and they will not honor it even after being shown receipts, everything else.

Manager Akili is supremely incompetent and should not be running a store- don't waste your time coming here.

Ordered a cold club supreme and received some hot slop! Not even sure which meat was used. Opened up the wrapper and the bread was soggy and covered in mayo. Basically inedible

Super DISAPPOINTED with the service. Order tuna in regular size as well as turkey sandwich. My Tuna sandwich was ALOT SHORTER than the turkey sandwich. They refused to redo the tuna sandwich with the correct length. They denied the difference in the length. I had to fight with them for refund since they refused to refund at the beginning.
Terrible service. Terrible worker. Will never go back there.

I just got a chicken cheesesteak and it literally had like 3 TEASPOONS OF chicken for $12BANNED

Avoid this Jersey mikes if possible. They get a lot of traffic and because the food is made to order they get backed up. The young kids working there seem tired overworked and underpaid. I had one of them take out their frustrations on my sandwich. They overloaded it with mayo I mean like a whole bottles worth on my sandwich as a big F you to me. Messed up part was that the sandwich was for a security guard that protects our business. That security guard is a large man who was on his way to get more than a free sandwich back from these poor-what’s that term for children without a father? We stopped him, took the loss because they are just kids trying to find a way in life n treat their job making sandwiches as a stepping stone. Come here when it’s slow if not be prepared for little kids begging to get spanked or throw a tantrum. Don’t believe me go experience this for yourself just be kind to the kids, their cell phones have their minds all messed up unaware of what’s really going on in the world and their place in it. Good luck & remember subway is always a safe bet for a quick sandwich.
