Meh, tacos were OK. Carne asada was SUPER gristly and the shrimp was hard, dry and overcooked. Chicken and barbacoa was good. Overall the meat quality wasn't up to par. I'm glad it was taco Tuesday and pretty cheap (shrimp tacos were full price). I would NEVER pay full price for this food.

Me and my girls went out for girls night and decided to come to kalaveras best decision we made! Vibes were immaculate and everyone was super nice. The drinks were super cute and were delicious the food was alright I give it a 7/10 but everything else was super good. They play all different type of music that’s what we loved about this place I really recommend coming here to celebrate anything !!

My recent visit to Kalaveras for brunch was an underwhelming experience from start to finish. The restaurant's insistence on brunch hours from 11 am to 2:30 pm felt restrictive, especially considering the steep price tag of $40 or $39.99 per person. Despite advertising birria tacos, we were served nothing more than shredded beef, a disappointing and misleading offering. The cold enchiladas further exemplified the lack of attention to detail in both food preparation and service. Additionally, the premade and flavorless tamales failed to impress. The cramped seating arrangement made it difficult to enjoy our meal comfortably, exacerbated by the excessively loud music that drowned out conversation. The staff appeared disinterested and unwelcoming, and patrons were pressured to finish their meal within an hour and a half. Despite being advertised as all-you-can-eat, the exclusion of orange juice from the beverage selection felt unnecessarily restrictive. Overall, Kalaveras fell short of expectations, and I cannot recommend it for brunch or any other dining occasion.

The loudest restaurant you'll ever eat at. The food was average, they put chimichurri and sweet potatoes fries in their Lomo Saltado, not a good combination. The old fashion was very good. The service was good.

Solid drinks, super service and good tacos! Not a lot of veggie options, but they do have some. Stopped in for the weekend brunch which includes bottomless mimosas and was disappointed in the buffet style lack of vegano options considering what they have on their weekly menu. I will say that what they do have is very flavorful and it's an enjoyable experience... Just not one I'm racing to get back to after my third trip in. Music get loud as can be by early afternoon so conversations with friends or family get really challenging.Parking is in a shared structure in back with neighboring business and usually no more than $5 if you go over the complimentary (2hr mark).

So my girlfriend and I went to this place that just opened in the arts district.Staff was pretty nice, however it was extremely loud in this place and The "art" is tacky but fun. When I saw that they had a particular smokey mezcal that most places don't have - we decided to stay and have a couple glasses. Which turned into the whole bottle for $250. A couple hours in, the crowd got kind of uncomfortable as well. Then our night abruptly ended when we tried to order something to eat. It was a dish with chorizo. We don't eat pork so kindly asked that they swap it for carne asada meat. The nice waiter was embarrassed to come out and tell me that the "chef" refused to make the order with a different meat. The manager parroted this bizarre statement so we had to close out our tab and go elsewhere for dinner. The fact we can't eat in the same place that we buy a $250 bottle of liquor is absurd. Obviously we won't be returning, there are so many great options in the area that are not only happy to accommodate but also have a less sketchy crowd.

Came to this location after visiting the Silver Lake one. This location is great! There is plenty of tables available, the decorations are cute and make for the perfect backgrounds for pictures! Jose was our server and suggested the most delicious margaritas and micheladas. He was very friendly and attentive the whole night. The food was also very delicious, I tried the shrimp enchiladas which came with rice and beans. Overall the service and vibes were impeccable! Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Thanks!Vegetarian options: They had tacos made with veggies etc.

Employees were rude and gave attitude like we were inconveniencing there day by being here ; they also refused to sit us until everyone in there our party showed up ( there should be a better rule) . It's bottomless mimosas but it sometimes took 25 mins to get our drink refilled after asking . The buffet and food was amazing but there kept not being plates so the line would build up to the find out we still had to wait for dinnerware. I've had the brunch a few times but this was the worst service received here ever.
