We are lucky to have this place as our local sushi spot. The sushi is great and the people who work there are even better. We have been going here pre and post kid and wouldn't go anywhere else. We always dine in. Highly recommend the Red Snapper nigiri.

I am beyond disappointed with both the quality of food and the customer service by the manager Alina at Kazuki sushi and I will NEVER eat here.
I usually go to Sushi Dan, but thought I’d try something new that’s closer by. I found Kazuki sushi on a Google search and I was instantly drawn to the photos attached. I ordered a dragon roll, the baked langostino roll, the paradise roll and the seaweed salad.
When my hubby brought the food back, I couldn’t believe my eyes. This was not at all what the photos looked like! The eel of the dragon roll was burned and dry and had a pile of what I assume are crumbles, but not sure why they’re on a dragon roll. The baked langostino was overly baked, but also not at all warm. Weird. The paradise roll was soggy looking and not truly breaded all around. The seaweed salad was the only thing that looked decent. I took screenshots of the website photo then how it arrived (photos #1&2 are pictures of the dragon roll they advertised, then #3 is how it actually arrived, photo #4 is the picture of the baked langostino roll they advertised, #5 is how I received it, photo #6 is the paradise roll they advertised, #7 is how I received it and #8 is my receipt to prove I ordered there). Photo #9 is the amazing food (Dragon Roll, Baked langostino & seaweed salad) I ordered from Sushi Dan after my disappointing experience with Kazuki Sushi.
I immediately called and asked for the manager, who answered by the name of Alina. I told her my concerns and she said that there’s nothing she could do. When I told her that I’m filing a claim with my credit card and posting a Google review, she patronizingly said, “thanks for your review” and she HUNG UP ON ME!
Y’all, if they completely misrepresent the food and this is the quality AND they’re not even willing to make it right? Absolutely not, I would never trust eating the food because my health is important. I’m not about to get sick from not fresh, soggy sushi. Trust me when I say, this was the worst quality sushi I’ve ever seen. I would trust some of the ones at certain grocery stores over this. Don’t risk your health! I’m throwing this food away.
And I ended up just ordering from Sushi Dan, which is incomparable. And no, Sushi Dan did not ask me to write anything.

At my work we ordered takeout here for the first time.
I got 2 servings of the vegetable rolls because 1 serving only has 5 pieces.
I liked the presentation and everything was fresh and tasted good.
2 of my co-workers said they didn't have a good experience, though.
1 of them ordered something with salmon and said it didn't smell right, so she played it safe and didn't eat it at all.
Another got chicken katsu and although he liked the crispy breaded outside, he said the chicken inside was really dry.
Since my own experience as a vegetarian was good, I'm keeping the rating high. At the same time, for those who are meat eaters, you should probably know about the not so good experiences from at least 2 customers.

Food is delicious but staff isn't great. Wait was triple the estimated time, and some of the hot food was packed way before the rest so it was cold by the time we got it. Waitstaff packed the hot food next to the raw sushi so everything ended up being the wrong temperature. Bummer given how expensive it is

I love the sushi here. The only time it wasn't as good was because of a trainee I believe but that's OK. To be clear, I like sushi that is loaded with all the extra stuff. They have good combos here. However they don't seem open to suggestion. Not even for someone like me who goes there almost once a week. It is fairly priced for what you get. Just don't order from the secret menu. That term is a gimmick and every item on that menu is dramatically over priced. The guys at the bar that actually make the sushi are always super friendly and tentative. However the few times that I have chosen to sit at a table, the wait staff is a major disappointment. They will sit around and talk without checking on you. They don't know how to look around to see if anybody is looking for them to order more food or ask a question (This is a very basic waiting standard), And they take FOREVER to bring the check every time even when I sit at the bar. They also had someone in there not long ago sitting at the bar talking very loudly on video call the whole time she was there. I asked about it and they had informed me that they were a regular party. I guess even more regular than me. Even so, I found this very rude of the customer and disturbing that the staff just let it happen when it was clearly bothering me. But that's has only happened once. Apparently they almost always go on Tuesdays. So I guess avoid Tuesday if you don't want to deal with that while trying to enjoy a meal haha. As I said, everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. Also, they make the sushi rolls pretty fast and still make them look pretty, which I certainly appreciate. Happy dining everyone!

This place, long ago, was a diner. Fake leather booths, probably a carousel of pies, the whole deal remnants of that former life poke through into what is now a subtitle yet impactful fusion of Thai and Japanese American sushi. Slices of lime and fresh slivers of hot peppers appear in places not normally found in Los Angeles sushi rolls, but the creators of this menu are bringing a Thai palate to the party and the results are surprising and tasty and fun.
The staff employs the classic greeting and farewell as a group one has come to expect from a sushi joint but , down to a person, I’ve found the staff to be excellent; genuine, helpful, thoughtful. They seem to have a deal worked out with the auto repair mini mall next door, so if visiting at night, parking seems to be decent.
