La Rochelle Bakery & Cafe is a local café with an intentional, warm, and genuinely special atmosphere. The indoor space feels cozy and inviting, but the real gem is the spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed back outdoor patio, perfect for lingering with a coffee, having a relaxed lunch, or getting some work done. It is a great spot to come and work or study, with lots of seating inside and outside.

The food and drinks are incredible. The pastries are so delicious and look insane. The menu has lots of options, with sizable sandwiches. The French dip sandwich is hands down one of the best, with perfectly crisp bread, tender meat, and rich, savory jus. The Beca Sandwich is recommended for a big appetite brunch. The blueberry matcha is the best matcha drink, with an immaculate balance of earthy matcha and natural blueberry sweetness. Drinks like the tiramisu iced latte are very tasty. The coffee is ok.

The staff are amazing and have great customer service, being warm, kind, genuinely joyful, sweet, personable, and helpful. Thoughtful touches like self-serve water stations add to the guest comfort. The vibe is generally immaculate, though some note the music can be super loud pop at dance-club-decibels, which feels not thematically cohesive over the serene patio.
