My Daughter brought me food free m this restaurant tonight. Absolutely AMAZING! The barbecue pork was so flavorful and the Mac & cheese was delicious! I will definitely order again!

I've had their food at Skate Oddity events and it is DELICIOUS! Worth the 20 minute wait. It's not fast food- made to order. So be patient. Yesterday I had the jerk "beef" tacos. The tortillas were grilled to be crispy and the beef filling and sauce was delicious. In the past, I had the pulled "pork" burrito which was also delicious. Very large portions. I always have leftovers or can share. I will definitely try more of their dishes. Excellent quality and taste.

The food here is so flavorful. Really impressed with the comfort food style. It's so close to the meat versions of everything you'll be so surprised. I love the smoked for 6-8 hours aspect. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing vegan food! I tried their version of a Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious! I was so impressed with their melty cheese that they used. It's restaurants like these that make transitioning to vegan so much easier! I can't wait to try more of their food items.

The BBQ is amazing-- flavor and texture is spot on! By far the best vegan BBQ I've ever had and the people are very friendly. It's a little bit on the pricier side for a meal (~$15-20) but it is a good portion size and definitely worth it.

TLDR: Amazing customer service, ridiculously tasty vegan food, large portions!! Definitely give this ghost kitchen a try!The whole story: One of my friends purchased a reservation time last Saturday for what we thought was a vegan BBQ pop-up market. Our taxi dropped us off at the location (because who the hell can get an Uber/Lyft in LB right now?!) and we couldn't find any event signs. A super nice guy walked out of the building to let us know that Leaf Over Beef is a "ghost kitchen" that customers are meant to order online for take out. The confusion was totally our mistake which we realized later after reading the entire details listed on the Eventbrite *facepalm* The same guy (didn't catch his name) explained how to order and said he'd bring it to our car when it was ready. We let him know that we'd be chilling on the sidewalk since, ya know, the taxi situation. While waiting for our food, we tried to time our taxi with when the food would be ready but it arrived early. When our order was ready, the Leaf Over Beef guys not only brought out our food but also gave us free merch and free drinks for waiting outside so long due to the ordering confusion!! AND a free plate of food for our taxi driver for having to wait on us - are you kidding me?! So kind!! Okay so about the food, these were some of the best vegan meats I've ever tried. The pulled pork was amazing. I swear the carne asada quesadilla weighed 5 lb LOL and the flavors were delicious! Overall, super impressed with this company and I hope they continue to grow in Long Beach and beyond.
