GREAT food & cook. TERRIBLE, degrading, DECEITFUL service !!! This woman who cares more about being on tiktok around the corner from her one patron they have at a time, than providing service at all! Then when asked a confirmation on an item in an order; she blatantly lies & fabricates a story (for idk what reason because it is so petty to even do so ) I went with one daughter while the other is in school. The other only ever gets garlic edamame no sushi. I asked for that to go when we placed ours. Duri he the entire meal she was nowhere to be found and being very rude, slow, and inattentive. It took me 8 mins to find her to ask for the bill, when she brings it I was still patient and kind since I got there often. I asked her if the edamame is garlic & instead of her saying oh no we can add it on or anything else she starts raising her voice and saying “no! You didn’t ask for that and I asked you regular or garlic you said regular!!!” And I look at my daughter stunned because we LITERALLY had a conversation amongst ourselves, after placing our order about how my other daughter only eats garlic edamame here. So someone to lie for something so SILLY and insult my intelligence & then start arguing with me about it as a business owner is beyond weird. She never asked me anything & I hope she reviews the cameras & sees how terrible she lied . Then was arguing with me about irrelevant stuff instead of just fixing the small order,(adding garlic sauce on) it was legit a 3 min argument for no reason and as a business owner she should be ashamed. She needs to find another business cause a business owner isn’t cut for her with that nasty, vile attitude tryna insult a regular customer’s intelligence! Poor chef looks like he hates his boss also and I can see why

I came here with my partner for Valentine’s Day and was absolutely enchanted! The whole restaurant was decked out with red hearts, candles, flowers, and balloons. They even folded all their napkins into hearts! I’m the kind of person who LOVES Valentine’s Day, so this was really the best place to go for a date. The food was awesome. We ordered the big beers on draft, and boy were they BIG. In my opinion there’s nothing better than a Sapporo and sushi but I was not prepared to receive what looked like an entire pint! It was delightful.Service ruled. I asked our waitress if we should choose Nicole’s Roll or the Laurel Canyon, and without hesitation she recommended the Laurel Canyon roll. She was right. It was amazing.GET THE MONKEY BRAIN APPETIZER. Oh my god. It’s amazing. It’s spicy tuna stuffed inside of a mushroom and then fried.I think the kitchen initially got our appetizer order wrong, so they gave us some free gyoza too, which was really delicious. In terms of price point, I was pretty pleased. You can come here to get decent quality sushi without completely breaking the bank :]

Place is a dump. Service is the worst !! Slow and unorganized. The owner has no idea what he is doing owning a resturaunt . The quality of the food sucks also, avoid this place at all costs.

Had extremely good service and I was extremely surprised by the quality. The rice alone was amazing and I could tell by the fist bite it that the sushi was in a different league than other sushi places. I definitely believe the authenticity is here and real and I would recommend this place to anyone trying to get some real good sushi. The ambiance was calm and friendly.

Always good is the heart attack, the garlic edamame, and the gyoza. We get it all the time.

We work really close to this place so we thought we'd give it a try for lunch. It is a small place but it was clean and organized. They only had one waitress but it wasn't too busy so it wasn't too bad. She was attentive after we ordered bringing everything we needed ahead of our food. The food was good but I wish they would write everything the rolls have in their menus. I ordered the crazy suro and didn't know it comes with cream cheese and topped with cheese plus two other sauces. The waitress did let me know abt the sauces after I asked but forgot to mention abt the cheeses. However since she saw that I wasn't as happy with my food they made it up by giving us a roll that had no cheese. Browny points for this for sure. The best things were the gyoza and the crispy rice. But If you're in a hurry this is definitely not the place to go. There was about one other table plus about 2-3 people in the sushi bar besides us and service was on the slow slide. Also it was very much on the expensive side. A roll went from 9-25 or more. Even the simple ones like the California roll or veggie ones were 9-10. No happy hour no lunch specials so I don't know if I would come back. Nice people but room for improvement for sure.

Lit sushi is our go to sushi spot and tonight we got a special treat. The ambiance is wonderful very relaxing. The sushi is always amazing. We love sitting at the bar and watching the chef prepare our food and talking to him. The service is always great and we will continue to come back whenever we get a craving for good sushi. We had driven by Lit a few times and were excited to try it out so we ordered last week on Grubhub. Food was decently flavored but overall it was truly disappointing. (Pork was over cooked). The biggest issue was the quantity. We ordered the beef, the galbi and the spicy pork, As well as 2 sushi rolls. Either the beef and the halving are essentially the same or we received two orders of galbi. As you can see from the pictures, the portions, of all of it, were incredibly small. The food is not cheap and with these portion sizes, not only does it not have the bang for the buck, we were still hungry afterwards and had to get more food from elsewhere. They even skimped on the rice and the salad. Maybe this would fly in an area with no good options for Asian fusion, but this is LA. We will definitely not be ordering again.
