Food correct, things to improve but in general it was correct. We enjoyed first courses more than mains. Team nice and well attending customers.

My family and I visited Mamma Lina's in March 2023 for my Aunty's birthday lunch. Initially, I had called (on 2 separate occasions at least 1 week before the booking) to say that my Mum would need a spare chair to put her feet up as she cannot have them hanging down for long periods. Unfortunately, on our arrival, I was told this request was not written down in the booking. Thankfully, the table she sat at had a wooden beam going across-ways so she could put her feet up there. Still, it was disappointing it wasn't written down... either time I rang. The food was delicious. At least, speaking from the point of view of not only myself but a handful of other family members who mentioned about their food too. It was hot, fresh, the very tasty. And the size of the meals are generally terrific. I will say, however, my cousin and partner of my Aunt ordered a burger with chips and the burgers were very small. Given the size of the place, it was extremely loud inside the cafe. For those not hard of hearing, it was very difficult to have conversations and hear each other, so I can just imagine the further difficulty for those that ARE hard of hearing. The main toilet was unavailable, so females had to use the ambulatory toilet, which, when I took my Aunt there, had no toilet paper and luckily she had tissues in her bag to use. I did inform a staff member of this and they dealt with it. I met the lady of the hour, Maria, absolutely gorgeous woman. Friendly, affectionate, kind, great sense of humour and she was very attentive to our tables. For me, she is a huge draw card to return to this Cafe. As long as she doesn't step on my toes again! lol The one major issue I had during our visit was the bill. I was served by a young, blonde girl, who was lovely, but didn't know how to split the bill. She also didn't know/couldn't figure out how to print off a receipt that showed food items that hadn't been paid for so we knew who hadn't paid for their orders. It was very frustrating. It became such an issue, that my cousin ended up paying the remaining $29+ that was left on the bill and meant we really couldn't work out where that left over money came from. This issue should be rectified asap. If that means training the staff how to do billing properly or completely overhauling it, I'm not sure, but I do hope it's fixed before we visit the next time. Overall, my experience here was good. Loved being taken care of by Maria, she was a gem. Food was terrific.

Every time I walk past this place my nose gets hijacked by some amazing smell, & every time I eat here the taste delivers exactly what was promised.

When I saw this restaurant open up in our neighborhood I was curious. I love pizza and Mamma Lina did not disappoint. The menu is so creative and the ingredients are super fresh. The first pizza I tried from here was a seasonal special with squash blossoms and anchovies. It’s probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and they have plenty of seating. I highly recommend Mamma Lina if you are looking for pizza that is fresh, fun, and innovative.

Love love loved our pizza here!!! What a gem of a spot. The staff was warm and inviting. Joseph, our server, gave us great recommendations (including the tip that the pizza is the thing to get--totally agree, though I can't say I have much to compare it to). We got the Stella pizza and the mam and cheese with pancetta. I liked the mam and cheese (especially the Parmesan crisp), but I loved the pizza. It was crispy and covered in toppings. The flavors were bright and full (not to mention enough for delicious leftovers). Will definitely be back!Small critiques---the food was served on wooden cutting boards, which was aesthetically amazing, but not great for catching fallen food (which is inevitable when eating a heaping pizza). -the fan+lighting combo created the effect of flashing lights, which was not as comfortable for sitting inside. Aside from this issue, the inside is quite cozy.

This dough ball of beauty is a wonderful secret hideaway in my neighborhood. I know as I am writing this it is going to blow up and then I will never get a table here again. The meats are marvelous and the pizza is magnificent! The fries are crispy and home cooked like your nona used to make. You can taste the joy in this cooking and I feel it to!

Only missing star is for the casual, (but comfortable) atmosphere. The crust was delicately light and crisp, and we had two varieties that were generously topped, and graciously served. The chef checked on us, and was kind enough to take a picture with us when we left.

This place is incredible. The pizza is actually the best we’ve encountered during our 2 week trip through LA, and the chef made personally sure that all dietary restrictions were met at the table while we ordered. Crunchy crust, fluffy, juicy and super fresh ingredients. Tell your friends!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did not disappoint, dough was fluffy and crispy. Everything tasted fresh, nothing was over salted or greasy. The pesto roasted vegetable salad was great, got pretty full on just that to start.
