Today was my first visit. I recently moved into the area and have driven by this location many times, but today, I was hungry and said let me stop in. I ordered online, but unfortunately, my order didn't transmit. They took my receipt and saw I had placed an order at this location. They made my order right away. I did email a link to the transaction and a screenshot of the receipt because I paid online and left a tip, and I want them to get their money. ? I first ate a hushpuppy, which was so good. Then, when I got home, I tore up one of the shrimp and ate some fried Cod; everything tasted so good, and I'm glad I stopped by today.

This is our final attempt with this restaurant. We have tried multiple times trying to give benefit of a doubt that they had a "off day" the first 2 times we ordered here. This is the 3rd attempt and boom, they messed up again. This time, we received OLD tarter sauce that has a chunk of plastic in it. The candied yams have a thick black piece of something that is black and super hard (not food). The yams also look really old. The greens are cold as if they just came out the fridge. As pictured, the fish isn't even a whole piece of fish. Please do not waste your time or money here.

I wanted to love this place...but it was strange. I was the only person in there and the woman sitting at the cash register seemed gloomy and angry. She told me she had a bad headache and I felt ver sorry for her. I looked at the menu. I picked a plate and she said they had no shrimp. Okay, so I picked the sea bass option. Out of that too. I was beginning to feel like I was in the middle of Monty Python's cheese shop sketch. I went with the Delta plate and was surprised to see the cashier cooking from scratch. She was very nice but the food took a while to come and was frankly not so great. The fish was over cooked and the fries were overseasoned with pepper and soggy. I couldn't finish it. So disappointed. A very weird experience.

Best Cajun food in the state. I lived in Louisiana for 25 years and this place is the only authentic stuff you get here. I've eaten there a number of times and never gotten a bad meal.I recommend it to all my friends who wanna taste of authentic Cajun.

Wow, where to begin? Stepped inside, said hey, wasn't greeted back. Sat down; "you got a pick up?" was all I got. Prior to arrival, was texted the meal would be ready at 5:40 but don't think they fired it up until I walked in the door. Ended up being ready 15 minutes after the stated time. Asked about brunch, guess that's not an option anymore even though it says it online still. Definitely for the better anyways.. Asked about my text re $2 off a $37 order for two meals and an order of 5 pea-sized hush puppies(for $5!). Was told the discount doesn't apply anymore. After reading the reviews, guess that hasn't been updated in a year. I should have just walked out at that point. Place smelled like fishy fish. The fried catfish tasted like gym socks. The cornbread batter was the best part but still couldn't hide that rancid flavor. Their generic tarter and cocktail sauce I was given couldn't help the cause either. The collard greens were cold and hollow tasting, tasted flavorless and weeks old. The sweet potatoes looked brown like they were at least two weeks old and re-served to a degree I haven't seen before in any sweet potato casserole or soufflé, anywhere. It was cold and straight trash. No marshmallows on top, no nuts, nothing; so bland all I could do was stick my finger in it to try a bit before almost gagging. The two shrimp tacos(2 shrimp in each one-cheap), tasted like they had Ralph's sweet and sour on them, the coleslaw on them was hideous, the shell had a questionable(stale?) texture. The subpar fries were the best part of that dish. The hush puppies were soso, and I'm being graceful in saying that, but def not worth 5 for $5! I feel like I spent way too much money and could have done better for dinner eating out of a dumpster tonight. No wonder this place was a literal ghost town. If anybody knows anything about soul food or good Cajun cooking, steer clear of this place and please do not waste your time!

If i could give this place negative stars i would. From the time i walked in to the time i left out it was horrible. I ride past the place all the time so after i got a haircut i decided to go eat there with my son. The cashier who i want to say is the cook, the cashier, the janitor just every position. She didn't greet us so when i spoke i said hi are you open she said "don't you see me sitting here. I said no me wait a min is everything ok , she proceeded to tell me her aunt just died and she didn't want to be at work but she was the only person there. Red flag( but i was hungry af and my 8 year old was starving) . So i asked about the menu she said i don't know i don't eat this stuff , i asked for fried fish and shrimp with greens, she put yams on my plate i said i didn't order that she said oh well . I didn't want to cause a scene in front of my child so i was like im a just leave , i don't recommend this place the service is horrible the food seemed to be warmed up and old . I've been calling to try and let them redeem themselves but no one answers so here we are. Don't eat there

Omg this place is so fire. Shoutout to the beautiful black woman that's always working when I go at open/close bc I never see nobody else working thereeeee, so I know holding them down! Give sis a raise x 2anyway the fish is fireeeeeeIdk why it's so hard to find good fish spots in LA everything is typically prepared by Asians with salt and pepper only, and I don't be in the mood for unseasoned fish. They know how to do it up here. I also LOVE the greens !

Placed an order via Yelp/GrubHub. Yelp indicated that this business was opened. I placed a takeout order for pickup and paid online. I go to pick up my order and this is what I found. They are closed. So my money was taken but you are closed. GrubHub returned my money. However driving to this location and finding parking was extremely annoying and an inconvenience. There was no food, no service and the ambiance was silently closed.
